Cybage recently appointed Gopikrishnan Konnanath to help the company grow. Historically, the company has grown, primarily through customer success referrals from its over 280 customers. The organisation has more than 8,000 employees across 18 global offices. It now looks to take on advice from more external people and increase its marketing.

Part of that growth strategy is to take advice from industry leaders such as Greg Butterfield, who is already a member of the Cybage Board. Cybage has also set up an advisory board and has now revealed that David Houser has joined it, effective September 2023.

David Houser joins the Cybage board

Houser spent eleven years at HighJump (now Körber Supply Chain). Working in several Sales roles before being promoted to EVP Supply Chain Business Area and Head GKAP. He worked with Cybage during his time there, developing the relationship into a global partnership. The success led to HighJump being named Global SI Partner of the World. That relationship also assisted with the growth of Cybage as it brought success in the US, Asia and Europe.

Houser is a well-known leader in the Supply Chain industry. He was recognised as a Pro to Know award from peers in the 2023 awards run by the Supply & Demand Chain Executive.

During his career, Houser spearheaded the acquisition of Otimis in Brazil. A strategic manoeuvre that proved immensely successful, showcasing another illustration of his enduring global connections. Deploying his “few-to-many model,” the business flourished into markets that would not have been possible without the correct balance of partners. The model’s impact helped HighJump become an industry leader and a multi-billion Euro world-class supply chain company.

As an accomplished author and thought leader, he continues to share his valuable insights on LinkedIn. When at home in North Carolina, David serves as a guest lecturer to MBA students at his alma mater (Appalachian State University). Lecturing on supply chain, analytics, and more.

After leaving Cybage, he joined Navis as Vice President and GM, APAC. After a short sabbatical, joined ReverseLogix as Chief Revenue Officer and then became an advisor to its board.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

Cybgae is emerging from the shadows and can potentially fulfil the vision it has for its growth. Appointments like that of Houser indicate that it is able to attract leading industry thought leaders to advise on further expansion. If it can leverage his knowledge and network this should help the company grow faster.

As the company becomes more extroverted, it will garner more attention worldwide. Key, will be in how it continues to deliver on its projects. Can the Cybage star continue to rise and shine more brightly? Only time will tell.
