Infor unveiled the latest improvements to its platform strategy with a new developer portal and a new RPA solution that forms part of Infor Enterprise Automation. Acumatica also unveiled its latest release; see below with a lot of improvements.

Pick of the week

Acumatica has released Acumatica 2023 R2. Besides hundreds of feature improvements, the release also sees the general release of Acumatica Payments, an integrated payment processing solution.

Other key updates include:

  • Access to the world’s largest sales channel by connecting Acumatica to Amazon’s Seller Central marketplace. Supporting FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) and MFN (Merchant-Fulfilled Network) delivery models.
  • Shopify’s new B2B eCommerce functionalities, with support for key features. Such as customer hierarchies and customer price tiers to seamlessly integrate online sales with Acumatica’s back-end fulfilment processes.
  • New web endpoints for Acumatica’s Product Configurator, enabling manufacturers to leverage best-in-class third-party build-to-order solutions.
  • Consolidated account reconciliation retainage invoicing feature, which improves project visibility for construction companies.
  • A new Manage Sales Allocations screen, which streamlines mass stock allocation and deallocation for distributors, retailers and commerce merchants.

Advantive announced its acquisition of Proplanner, a leader in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Appointments

Sage has promoted Arnaud Petit to Managing Director of the Southern Europe region, a region including France, Belgium and Morocco. He will report to Derk Bleeker, President of Sage EMEA.

Workday announced the appointment of Fredrik Nylander as the new Senior Vice President of North & Emerging Markets. Covering the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, South Africa, and the Nordics. He will report directly to Angelique de Vries-Schipperijn, President of EMEA, Workday.

Business

GXO Logistics, Inc. is teaming up with Blue Yonder, a leader in intelligent supply chain software. To deploy a new end-to-end supply chain software solution to power its shared warehousing solution GXO Direct in the US.

FuturMaster announced that its Bloom platform has earned the AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR) certification.

Lula Convenience announced an integration of the Lula Store Platform with PDI Technologies. A global leader delivering powerful solutions and insights that serve as the backbone of the convenience retail and petroleum wholesale ecosystem.

Customer

Lactalis Iberia Group, the Spanish subsidiary of the world’s leading dairy foods company, is automating and optimizing its Customer Service processes with Esker.

Van Oord, a leading international marine contractor, has chosen IFS Cloud to automate and streamline its business functions. Wahaj, Saudi Arabia’s fastest-growing precision engineering & manufacturing company in the Aerospace & Defense and Oil & Gas sectors and a fully owned affiliate of Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem), has selected IFS Cloud ERP and defence manufacturing solutions.

SNS, a leading provider of supply chain consultancy and software implementation. Announced that leading wholesaler, Miners Inc (Miners), has deployed Infor WMS.

NetSuite revealed how Abernathy Company moved from Chempax to NetSuite ERP in 2017. And has continued to deploy new modules for additional benefits.

Redditch Borough Council has decided to implement 70 licenses of Totalmobile’s Connect, Mobilise and Protect solutions.

Magnum Opus LLC, dba ‘MO’, a rapidly growing GovCon helping lead the digital transformation of federal agencies, has selected Unanet GovCon ERP.

Product

ECI Software Solutions announced the integration of its EvolutionX, a B2B eCommerce platform, with its Red Falcon ERP, a business management and eCommerce software.

Freshbooks launched Collaborative Accounting. This allows business owners to manage the day-to-day financial responsibilities of running their business. Such as invoicing and expense management while giving their accountants real-time access to data.

MISys unveiled v6.4.7 of its flagship software application, MISys Manufacturing. It gives customers the ability to easily deploy the service and database of the application in the cloud on Microsoft Azure.

Project44 announced significant enhancements to its platform, Movement. These simplify multimodal visibility and help customers maximize carrier data quality. The expanded capabilities include extended door-to-door visibility and machine learning-powered innovations that automate key processes. These will lead to cost savings and efficiency gains.

QAD has released the latest enhancements to its comprehensive suite of Adaptive Applications. They include Advancing Process Intelligence, QAD Redzone Connected Workforce Integration and “QAD eDocument Compliance”. An end-to-end solution tailored for QAD ERP customers.

SAP revealed how it has rolled out generative AI use cases, its generative AI Co-Pilot, Joule and the talent intelligence hub across SAP SuccessFactors.

Simpro unveiled Simpro Premium 23.4.1. It includes the ability to add notes in invoices and jobs and support for two-factor authentication for Xero users. It also updates Simpro Mobile, version 10.10. Which includes an attachment share button, the ability to store photos on the device and Simpro Premium. And retention of EXIF data in photos.

ToolsGroup launched a dramatically improved user experience for its industry-leading Service Optimizer 99+ (SO99+) supply chain planning solution.
