Agiloft revealed Nicola Milstead as CMO earlier today. Davis has over fifteen years of experience in high-growth enterprises, most recently at Workato, where he was Vice President of Product Marketing for the last two years.

Before Workato, he spent nearly seven years at Trifacta (now Alteryx) in marketing leadership positions. Davis also worked in product marketing at data companies such as GoodData, Pivotal Software and Clearstory Data. He will bring his deep experience in product marketing, demand generation, and channel marketing to the role.

He joins a company still working its way through its last funding raise in 2021, a Series B round of $140 million led by Updata Partners. Earlier this month, it was revealed that CData Sync was available on the SAP store enabling SAP users to easily import/export data with 270+ external applications.

It continues to advance the CData Connect Cloud platform enabling customers to connect data from any cloud reporting, analytics, or business tool. Davis has the task of making the company stand out in a market full of competitors.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

Davis joins a company with over 10,000 customers, directly or through the OEM data integration solution it provides to other vendors such as Google, Salesforce, Informatica, and TIBCO. Customers include Office Depot, Tableau, Bayer, Horizon, Orange County of California, FedEx and Intel.

Most recently, it published a case study explaining how the manufacturer Belden has consolidated real-time marketing data in the cloud to allow marketers to analyze and deliver vital insights in Tableau.

It will be interesting to see how Davis marks his mark on the organisation and evolves its messaging to make it stand out in a busy market. He has deep experience in the market, having worked at several organisations, including competitor Workato. it will be interesting to see what innovation he brings.
