Infor has announced the addition of a new channel partner in Cloud Business Solutions. Based in Manchester, Cloud Business solutions has already helped deliver several Infor CloudSuite Industrial solutions, including Vantage Power. Cloud Business Solutions lists Vantage Power as a reference on its site. It is also a NetSuite partner of some standing
Similarly, It has celebrated the growth of several other partners. Avaap, a US headquartered Infor channel partner, has extended its relationship to include Infor M3. Anthesis, an Infor M3 services partner and will now sell and implement Infor M3, initially in the pet feed and food processing industries. Dubai based SNS is increasing its footprint to Western Europe with offices in Dublin and France.
Enterprise Times: What does this mean
After receiving another boost of funding from Koch, prior to a potential IPO, Infor is aiming to increase its channel partners. It is looking for partners in Western Europe at least to sell and implement several of its solutions including:
That isn’t easy and it may need to evolve its model to attract more of them. It wants to add more of them. Annette Cunningham, Senior Director, Channels, Infor stated: “These new agreements are the start of a concerted drive to expand our channel partner ecosystem, as part of our plan to double licence revenues within the region over the next three years.”
However, attracting new partners is not simple. Cloud Business Solutions has already worked with Infor for at least a couple of years especially if they worked on the Vantage Power implementation. It needs to work out a way of supporting startups or wooing some partners out of another vendors ecosystem.
What it hasn’t seemed to have done yet, is convert some of the Infor Birst Channel partners to full Infor partners, that might be an area, if it supports training especially, that it might have some success.
Anthesis was incorrectly omitted from this article and has now been added above.
