What does the Time Tracking do

Replicon Time Tracking solutions are used by some of the largest global professional services organisations. Customers include Siemens and EY. The cloud-based solution enables employees to track time spend on a project down to the minute. The solution includes a mobile-enabled time clock that works both offline and online. Both Android and iOS applications are available.

It also supports geofencing to ensure validity of location and time entered for remote employees. Organisations can set up multi-level projects, with project milestones. As employees complete timesheets and managers have approved them, the data is transferred in real-time using web APIs to Sage Intacct. the API supports bi-directional data transfer to ensure information is accurate and up to date in both systems.

Replicon also supports billing information and can invoice clients and then transfer that information directly into the Sage Intacct ledgers to track payments etc. Replicon’s strength lies in an extensive library of rules that ensure employees meet local compliance requirements around overtime, meal breaks, and other labour laws. There is also multi-lingual and multi-currency support enabling global organisations using Sage Intacct to provides data entry screens in the local language. This is something that is not yet available within Sage Intacct.

Once the data is ingested, customers can also leverage a complete analytics solution within Replicon. They can review information in summary charts and dashboards to help business leaders take action where needed. The integration with Sage Intacct enables organisations to better manage their KPIs around project delivery, resource time management, project accounting, revenue management, and growth.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

Is this the first step for Replicon to make its Polaris PSA available on the Sage Intacct Marketplace? Now that the Time Tracking solution is available, it seems a logical next step.  Regardless., the market-leading Replicon Time Tracking solution will provide Sage Intacct customers with a way of tracking time accurately. The announcement comes a few months after Sage Intacct itself launched Sage Intelligent Time.

Does the Replicon solution offer much in addition to the Sage Intacct native application? At first glance, the key difference is in the global support that the Replicon solution offers. Otherwise, users may find that the Sage Intacct Intelligent Time delivers all they need. It will be interesting to see how many joint customers Replicon already has and whether this is the first step for integration to the recently relaunched Polaris PSA. While Polaris does integrate to Sage Solutions, it is not yet listed on the Sage Intacct Marketplace.
