Planful revealed how Muscatine Power and Water (MPW) had saved 3,000 hours annually. By leveraging the Planful solution to improve its budgeting processes.
Jill Blieu, the company’s Manager of Accounting & Finance at MPW, said, “Our labour budget used to take me months to do, and it now takes a day or so.” MPW was supported by Planful partner Bakerfield Solutions to leverage Planful’s Dynamic Planning, Workforce Planning, and Spotlight Microsoft 365 capabilities. Thus transforming budgeting and significantly reducing workforce planning time.
Protective Industrial Products
In a video posted by Planful on LinkedIn, Mark Smith, Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Protective Industrial Products, said, “With Planful, our controllers are fully involved in the budgeting process, have access to their own reports, and can perform analytics that were previously handled by Corporate FP&A.”
Smith goes on to explain how the powerful Financial FP&A solution has helped simplify the financial reports in a complex multi-entity organisation.

Percipient announced the completion of the first phase of a Sage Intacct implementation at Holkham Estate, a complex hospitality and leisure operation in Norfolk. After a detailed evaluation, Holkham selected Sage Intacct with Percipient to manage the deployment.

Panasonic Connect
Panasonic Connect Europe donated leading 1-Chip DLP laser projectors to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). This was to help stage its summer production and train the next generation of theatre professionals. The production – the satirical comedy musical “Urinetown” by Mark Hollman and Greg Kotis – took place in RADA’s largest venue. London’s Jerwood Vanbrugh Theatre, featuring a crew composed entirely of students from the Technical Theatre and Stage Management FdA and BA courses. Alongside a cast of final-year BA Acting students.

Infosys
Infosys announced the results for its Q2 ending September 2024. Revenues in constant currency terms grew by 3.3% YoY and 3.1% QoQ. It achieved reported revenues of $4,894 million in the quarter at a growth of 3.3% YoY.
Salil Parekh, CEO and MD, commented, “We had strong growth of 3.1% quarter-on-quarter in constant current in Q2. The growth was broad-based, with good momentum in financial services. GMM Pfaudler
In a short video GMM Pfaudler, a global leader in corrosion-resistant equipment, has leveraged Infor GenAI to transform their item master data quality project. Elizabeth Venezia, Group Director, ERP System & Data Management at Pfaudler, explains how the firm has used Infor generative AI to accelerate its master data management project.
With 800,000 items to validate, Infor Gen AI has reduced the project timescale from 7 years to an estimated six months. It is using Gen AI to standardise item descriptions in Italian, French, English and German. Thus ensuring all employees can use the solution with greater understanding.
Deltek
Deltek published an interview with Yvette Aubin, CFO of Ebsary Foundation Company. A premier heavy marine and deep foundation contractor based in the south-eastern United States. Ebsary has been a ComputerEase customer since 2012. It has continuously improved how it has leveraged Deltek ComputerEase over that period.
While there is hesitation to use AI broadly, leveraging AI with the Deltek platform gives the company the surety that it and only it is leveraging its data in a closed environment.
Other advantages include the ability for the company to expand. Aubin noted, “Using Deltek ComputerEase made a huge impact on our company. Especially with the number of locations we have and being able to push the work down to the field instead of having one person in the office entering time.”
