Epicor has announced several changes to its executive leadership. Vaibhav Vohra has been named President and continues to hold his current position of Chief Product & Technology Officer. Arturo Buzzalino has been promoted to Chief Innovation Officer and Group Vice President. Scott Morgan has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer.
The announcement came after Lisa Pope, who has served as President and Chief Revenue Officer since 2017, is retiring. In a LinkedIn post, Pope commented, “After 40 years in Software, I have officially announced my retirement! I have so cherished these last 7 years at Epicor working with the very best team and customers in my career. I’m leaving our incredible CEO, Steve Murphy, in excellent hands with the promotion of Vaibhav Vohra to President! I can’t wait to see Epicor’s continued success and growth under this dynamic duo!”
Vohra’a promotion is a recognition of the work he has done to spearhead strategic product advancements since joining in 2021. He has introduced the company’s AI-infused ERP portfolio that supports businesses that make, move and sell. He will continue to lead the functions responsible for overall product strategy, development, and design.
Buzzalino joined Epicor in 2022 and was promoted to Vice President of Products Innovation and Design a year ago. In his role as Chief Innovation Officer, he will focus on driving AI-focused initiatives within the Epicor centres of excellence. He will also take responsibility for strategic integration and other emerging technology.

Who is Scott Morgan?
Morgan joins from Zebra Technologies, where he was Senior Vice President and General Manager. He previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at LevaData and Fourth. Morgan also spent nine years at Infor where he was SVP and GM, and would have worked with Lisa Pope while she was there.
He has twenty-five years of experience in the software and technology industry. Background includes growth strategy and execution at multiple stages of company scale, M&A due diligence and integration, international management, indirect channel development, and private equity partnerships.
He has a BSc and a Master’s degree in Education, Leadership, and organizational development from Angelo State University. He obtained his Doctorate in leadership and organizational development from Texas A&M University.
Enterprise Times: What does this mean
Pope has had a distinguished career in Software, working for NCR, Oracle, QAD, Infor and Epicor. Ironically, her full-time career journey is ending where it began at Epicor. It will be interesting to see whether she takes on any more board roles in the future.
The leadership shuffle includes a new CRO, which is effectively the only major change. Vohra’s contribution to the Epicor strategy is recognized with his promotion to President, though his role does not seem to have changed much.
Murphy will hope that this will be a smooth leadership transition, and it may help that Morgan knows Pope well.
