Appointment

BML has announced the appointment of Charlie Cannell as its new Chair of the Board.

Business

Arsenal has announced a new multi-year partnership with Airwallex. This will see the global payments and financial services partner become the club’s Official Finance Software Partner.

Alkira has announced significant growth among both existing and new customers. New customers include Michaels and Warner Hotels. Meanwhile, existing customers SITA, Chart Industries and Kock Industries have extended their partnerships with Alkira.

Gainsight has announced the opening of a new data centre in Germany to support the EU.

Infor has expanded its Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate the adoption of generative AI among joint customers.

Newgen published the results of its Q1 Fiscal 2026 period. It has had a solid start to the year, with subscription revenues rising 19.5% year-over-year to Rs 1,210 million. Total revenues reached Rs 3,500 million, representing a 3.8% year-over-year increase. The lower-than-expected revenue increase was due to a softness in deal closures, according to Newgen.

Pipefy, the Brazil-based process management and AI platform vendor, has announced a strategic collaboration with Oracle.

Xensam, a provider of AI-enabled Software Asset Management (SAM) technology, has expanded its operations in London and opened a new office in Bucharest, Romania.

Product

Deltek has unveiled the latest release of Costpoint, featuring a reimagined user experience that seamlessly embeds AI and compliance.

IFS Ultimo enhances HSE reporting with its new Agentic AI solution.

Precisely has joined the increasing number of software companies adding a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to their product line. This MCP server will deliver access to several of Precisely’s trusted data sets.

The Simpplr AI-powered EX platform, which unifies employee engagement, enablement, and services, has achieved Workday Design Approved Integration status.

Storyblok has launched Blueprints, a new way for developers to kickstart website projects with structure, speed, and total control.

Zoho has announced another iterative update to its AI capabilities. The update includes Zia Agents, Zia Agent Studio, a Model Context Protocol server and the launch of Zia LLM.

Azul

Azul published the results of a joint global survey of 500 ITAM and software asset management (SAM) professionals. The results show just how costly software license missteps have become. 27% of enterprises now spend more than $500,000 each year fixing software-license non-compliance.

And Oracle Java continues to escalate as a top concern, with 73% having undergone an Oracle Java audit within the past three years. And nearly eight in 10 saying they have migrated, or intend to migrate, to open-source Java alternatives to rein in risk and cost.

Martin Thompson, Founder of the ITAM Forum, commented, “The results highlight a fundamental mismatch between the complexity of modern software licensing and the resources organisations rely on to effectively manage software compliance.

“ITAM and SAM professionals are becoming increasingly vital as organisations increasingly recognise that poor license management can result in significant financial penalties and operational disruptions. They must have the resources and executive buy-in to ensure compliance and successful license management.”

Cybage Software

Cybage celebrated its 30th anniversary of existence with a mix of celebrations, social media posts, and a press release. In 1995, Cybage Software began with four employees, developing a web browser during the infancy of the internet. Thirty years later, it stands as a testament to what conviction, clarity, and consistency can build, mirroring India’s transformation into an emerging superpower.

With over 7,500 employees globally, including 5,500 based in Pune, Cybage is still proudly headquartered in the city where it began.

Cybage also published details of a customer project that saw it reduce turnaround time by 60%. This was by consolidating data streams and promoting data-driven decision-making for a leading US-based deal-sharing website.

Datadog

Datadog launched its full range of products and services on the Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) Asia-Pacific (Sydney) Region. The launch expands Datadog’s existing locations in North America, Asia, and Europe. Thus, strengthening its comprehensive observability platform that enables customers to monitor their entire technology stack across their deployment environments.

Yanbing Li, Chief Product Officer at Datadog, said, “This milestone reinforces Datadog’s commitment to supporting the region’s advanced digital capabilities—especially the Australian Government’s ambition to make the country a leading digital economy.

NetSuite

NetSuite has rolled out 2025.2. The update includes new features in SaaS metrics, workforce management, financial close, and planning and budgeting that help you stay ahead and make confident decisions. It has also added additional features for industries such as software and high-tech businesses, healthcare, and project-based companies with multiple locations.

Panasonic

Panasonic announced that it has terminated the capital partnership agreement with ORIX. It ended on July 3, 2025, through mutual agreement.

Planful

Planful published a case study about how Maison Mirabeau is saving 2-3 days every month by eliminating manual budgeting and reconciliation using the Planful platform for its marketing budgeting.

Aleks Jaworska, Global Brand Manager at Maison Mirabeau, said, “The visibility we’ve gained from Planful is crucial because we can see the details for every market and marketing activity, analyse where we’ve overspent and why, where we’ve overbudgeted, and more.

Workday

Workday announced that Seattle University has selected Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), Workday Financial Management, and Workday Student to transform the student experience by unifying data and operations across its seven colleges and two campuses.

Zoho

Zoho announced the latest update to Bigin, its entry-level CRM solution. The update includes an integration with QuickBooks. It has expanded its lead capture integration, Leadchain for Bigin, to include Google and Click-to-WhatsApp Ads. A brand-new discount field can automatically calculate final prices based on the discount percentages or amounts entered. There are also improvements to the mobile app, making it easier to organise emails.

In Saudi Arabia, Zoho Corp and Al-Ahli Saudi Club Company announced a comprehensive technology partnership. Zoho has been named the club’s official technology partner, spearheading a complete overhaul and modernisation of its digital systems and infrastructure.
