Robin AI has announced the appointment of Allan Walters as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Walters will report directly to CEO Richard Robinson. Walters will be responsible for leading Sales, Customer Success and Marketing. The appointment is the latest step for Robin AI on its growth trajectory and shows the maturity and scale that the company has now reached. It is also the latest of its senior appointments following is $26 million funding round in January led by Temasek.
The appointments include Carina Negreanu, PhD as Vice President of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Scott Casey as CFO, and Ryan Heath as its Head of Communications.

Who is Allan Walters
Walters joins from Leaf Agriculture where he spent a little over a year as Chief Revenue Officer. He was previously Vice President of Sales at Airkit. Walters spent seven years as Vice President of Sales, Vertical Markets at Twilio. At Twilio he helped grow the company’s revenues from Startup to its IPO in 2016, growing it to over $1 billion. Before Twilio he also worked for Workday, Salesforce, and Siebel Systems, and briefly Oracle after the acquisition.
Walters has 25 years of experience in sales in fast-growing and successful enterprise software and SaaS businesses. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services and now lives in New York.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean
Robin AI is aiming to disrupt the legal software industry by making complex legal review processes faster, cheaper and accessible to non-lawyers with its AI powered solutions. It recently announced generative AI capabilities in partnership with AWS.
Walters appointment is just the latest hire as Robin AI continues to expand. As of writing, there are nearly 20 open positions at Robin AI, including several senior Sales and Marketing roles. More junior roles are likely to follow as Walters builds out the team.
