Following its acquisition by Thoma Bravo in February this year, ConnectWise has continued its growth under new CEO Jason Magee. It has added 1,000 new channel partners (customers) between March 1st and August 1st 2019 alone. This increase was reflected in the latest Channel Futures 2019 MSP 501 list. ConnectWise has increased its share of that market segment by 9% to 67%.

Magee commented: “Thank you to those 338 MSPs who reported using our products — your success is our success. We’re excited to see how this year’s 501ers will use their experience with our products and membership in our IT Nation partner family to inform the channel over the next year.”

ConnectWise now has more than 26,000 partners across 65 countries. Its leadership has also received independent recognition recently. Three individuals have been recognized by independent awards.

  • Craig Fulton, chief customer officer, named as one of the premier leaders in the indirect IT and telecom channel by Channel Partnersand Channel Futures.
  • Heather Ptak, ConnectWise director of field marketing, was named by CRN to its prestigious 2019 Women of the Channel list.
  • Tori Mannix, a senior field marketing specialist, is one of three young technology professionals recognized as a ChannelChanger for 2019 by CompTIA.

Magee added: “We are delighted to see momentum building in this way, and confident that it is just the beginning of a long-term trend. This tells a story of a team pulling in the same direction and it’s great to see their efforts recognized in the context of a highly competitive industry.”

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

With a new leadership in charge, the keynote at IT Nation Connect, the ConnectWise annual conference should be revealing. The event will be held between Oct 30 – Nov 1, 2019 in Orlando, FL. For many years Arnie Bellini was ConnectWise. Magee will hope to convince partners that the change will lead to even better things.
