10x Banking has announced a new partnership with Tweezr. Tweezr provides an AI-powered surgical code assistant that unlocks developer productivity in legacy environments. The assistant pinpoints exactly where they need to make changes across millions of lines of code without breaking critical functionality. For 10x Banking, however, the reasons in the partnership are the understanding of legacy systems it can deliver as part of the digital transformation to the 10x Banking modern banking platform.
One of the biggest challenges that financial institutions face during core transformation is the lack of understanding of their legacy systems. After decades of coding, with original developers rarely still with the company, the institutional knowledge that those developers once had is often lost. Understanding of how those systems interact is key to a successful transformation to modern systems without slow and often painful progress from monolithic core systems.
Partnering with Tweezr gives 10x Banking access to a migration tool that can analyse legacy systems at the source code level to uncover and document the hidden business rules, forgotten connections, technical dependencies and data flows from the existing platforms. It allows migration teams to better understand the impact of change and replacements projects. Furthermore, it lowers the risk of transitioning to the modern 10x Banking platform.

Antony Jenkins, Founder and CEO of 10x Banking, commented, “Core migration anxiety is one of the biggest barriers to transformation, particularly when leaders lack certainty about how legacy systems will behave during change.
“Tweezr’s deterministic insight helps remove that uncertainty, giving banks greater confidence and control on the path to migration. This partnership strengthens our de-risked approach, enabling banks to move off legacy and onto the 10x Banking platform with predictability and assurance.”
Tweezr breaks new ground
Tweezr was originally designed and sold to help banks modernise complex legacy estates without wholesale system replacement. It won “ best in show” for the second year running at the FinovateEurope 2026. Its entry stated, “Tweezr uses AI to make complex legacy systems explainable and safe to change.
“By analysing existing code and architecture, Tweezr predicts the impact of proposed changes, highlights risk, and guides teams toward safer implementations – helping financial institutions ship new functionality faster without disrupting critical systems.”
With the relationship with 10x Banking, it is breaking new ground by bringing the understanding of those legacy systems to assess impact, validate assumptions, and map critical functionality with confidence before and during migration to the 10x Banking platform.
Coupled with the other 10x Banking migration tools and methodology, they lower one of the biggest concerns that banks face when considering transformation. It also helps to accelerate that transformation.
Ohad Kotler, CEO and Co-Founder at Tweezr, said, “Modernizing core banking systems isn’t just a technology shift, it’s a trust problem. Banks need to understand exactly how their systems behave before they can safely change them. Regulators expect banking leaders to have personal responsibility to ensure controls are in place to avoid major negative impact.
“Tweezr provides a deterministic, code-based view of legacy systems, removing guesswork and enabling teams to move forward with clarity and control as they migrate to platforms like 10x Banking.”
Enterprise Times: What does this mean?
This is a win-win-win situation. With access to Tweezr, 10x Banking can lower the barriers for banks considering digital transformation. The Tweezr application should also help to shorten the timescales for any transformation. What will be interesting to see is what timescale changes 10x Banking commit to when they use the software.
For Tweezr, this opens up a new market for its software. It can now assist 10x Banking, where banks are considering the 10x Banking platform to help them transform. If banks still wish to remain with their legacy platform, they can help document and lower the risks associated with the change to it now.
The announcement may also bring it to the attention of other modern banking platform vendors, and it will be interesting to see what happens there. Is the relationship exclusive, and has 10x Banking protected itself from Tweezr receiving an acquisition offer from a larger rival?
For banks, this will lower the risk of digital transformation, and it should also shorten timescales for change. It may also reduce the costs of any implementation using AI rather than consultants to analyse existing systems.
