Precisely has announced the latest update to its Data Integrity Suite. The global leader in data integrity has also announced the release of a new private API for mainframe replication. The API builds on the announcement last week that it has extended its mainframe modernisation collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). That announcement saw the release of a new AWS Mainframe Modernisation Application Testing (MMAT) feature.
Precisely has released two additions to the Integrity Suite Spatial Analytics and Data Enrichment services. This completes the seven services that were all intended to be part of the data integrity suite underpinned by the Data Integrity Foundation.
The complete suite now comprises of:
- Data Integration
- Data Observability
- Data Governance
- Data Quality
- Geo Addressing
- Spatial Analytics
- Data Enrichment
The new solutions will enable customers to leverage cloud-native Spatial APIs. These will connect with and discover patterns, trends, and relationships between data points in relation to their business. Based on location data, these insights can be displayed using maps and reports to better inform business decisions. In addition, the new mainframe announcements give more access to flexible deployment options for mainframe replications.
Spatial Analytics empowers the organisation
Spatial Analytics enable customers to discover information about locations, their surroundings and distances between points of interest. Organisations can use the spatial analytics capability to use the data sources to provide information about areas to accurately calculate risk profiles, optimise resources for different types of business. Or make property-related performance evaluations for retail, planning or other use cases.
Users can visualise data on maps and perform spatial analysis to identify the optimal location for a new store or make territory planning decisions based on demographic information available from third-party data sources. Location-centric reports enable users to share reports across the business to improve collaboration. The secure APIS allow customers to build applications leveraging location intelligence for internal and customer-facing applications.
Data Enrichment
While organisations aim to retain relevant data about their customers, third-party data sources are a treasure trove of information for prospecting and other purposes. The Data Enrichment service provides access to trusted third-party resources with which organisations can enrich their data.
The Data enrichment services enable customers to combine first-party data with third-party data easily and quickly. This will save a huge amount of time compared to more traditional methods. When combined, the third-party data can be used to validate and improve analysis and improve decision-making across the organisation.
With access to new data sets, organisations can surface new relationships, not visible before, and new trends that can help shape business decisions that impact the prosperity of the firm.
Private Mainframe Replication API
The new Private Mainframe Replication API is part of the Data Integrity Suite Data Integration service. The new service is a container-based solution for mainframe replication. It allows users to replicate data across different environments, whether their systems are hosted in a private data centre, an on-premises system, or a hybrid environment.
For industries where hosting is restricted, such as financial services, banking, and insurance, this allows organisations to improve flexibility and get access to mainframe data to conduct advanced analytics, AI, and other critical business initiatives.
Chris Hall, Chief Product Officer at Precisely, commented, “Customers can now access a complete range of data integrity capabilities in the way that works best for their business, allowing them to quickly and easily fuel their organisation with highly trusted data. We are proud to lead the way in delivering a converged data integrity solution that uniquely combines everything from data integration to spatial analytics and data enrichment – critical elements for ensuring reliable AI and advanced analytics outcomes.”
Enterprise Times: What does this mean
This is an important step for Precisely, as it has now completed the seven components of its Data Integrity Suite. For those interested to discover more about the Suite and to find out what Precisely is up to next, it is hosting Trust ’24 in October this year.
The event will be hosted live in Philadelphia, EMEA, and APAC. It will also have a virtual conference for those who cannot travel. At the event, Precisely will reveal more details about the Data Integrity Suite. It will be interesting to see how it will further enhance the platform in the future.
As organisations flood to the clarion call of AI. Precisely is rightly pointing out that only by having trusted data from across multiple sources can organisations enhance their decision making. If the data is poor or weak, the results from AI are weak. Precisely helps organisations build trust in their data. With these releases, it has also extended the scope of trusted data to spatial data and third-party data sets.
