The partnership will see DirectBiller, the digital billing and payment platform, be available to the Deluxe network of banks, partners, and direct clients. DirectBiller will have access to a network of around 4 million active small business customers. Also, access to over 4,000 financial institution clients. It is, therefore, a huge opportunity for Aliaswire to extend its customer base. It will give Deluxe access to a billing solution that can deliver financial institutions more revenue.

Michael Reed, Division President of B2B Payments at Deluxe, said, “Our goal is to facilitate our clients’ transition to digital payment offerings. Deluxe has been providing digital payment solutions to our customers for some time, and now, in partnership with Aliaswire, we aim to extend our reach. This expansion provides Deluxe with a strategic advantage, as the capabilities are seamlessly embedded in our Merchant Services Platform, First American, offering a comprehensive online payment processing experience for our clients.”

Extending First American

Deluxe expects to integrate DirectBiller into its First American platform. This will enable Deluxe to provide additional services and extend its market reach. The DirectBiller solution integrates with financial institutions’ treasury management solutions. For smaller businesses, it will enable them to send bills, accept payments, and access funds in accordance with their preferences.

DirectBiller also integrates with ERP applications. Customers range from small businesses to large enterprises. It enables businesses to effortlessly transmit digital bills, accept digital payments, and receive funds on the following business day. The UI supports viewing and paying bills web, mobile, IVR, kiosk, Text2Pay, and digital wallets.

Jed Rice, CEO of Aliaswire, commented, “Deluxe is one of the most trusted and respected providers in the banking industry with thousands of financial institution clients. They are a perfect fit for DirectBiller, the only independent biller direct platform delivered through channel partners. We’re excited to partner with Deluxe as more banks look to actively incorporate online bill pay into their integrated receivables offerings to generate reliable revenue and build stickier client relationships in an unstable environment.”

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

This is another significant partnership for fintech startup Aliaswire. In February 2022, it integrated the DirectBiller payment platform with Mastercard Bill Pay Exchange. This announcement opens up the Deluxe ecosystem with a huge market expansion potential. However, integrating the platform onto First American is just the first step. It will now need to see whether the Deluxe customers want to take advantage of the platform.
