Sabby Gill, CEO of Dext, commented, “Our partnership with Xero continues to transform and empower small business owners across the globe, ensuring they can save time and benefit from much needed peace of mind”, “Ensuring business owners have the time to focus on their customers is essential. With digital transformation shaping the way we do business, and the advancement of technology such as AI and machine learning, continuing to expand this partnership will ensure we support the growth of businesses. By deepening the integration of our automation software with Xero’s platform, we are revolutionising  financial management, enabling small businesses to fuel growth and success.”

Dext and Xero

Dext Prepare integrates directly with Xero to create an end-to-end bookkeeping productivity solution. It automatically synchronises with the Xero chart of accounts. This ensures that Dext understands and can categorise data accurately. The solution provides four key benefits:

  • It will capture and process business expenses and receipts
  • Data is captured accurately and securely using bank-level encryption
  • It delivers improved efficiency with automated data entry
  • Financial overview of data in real-time, enabling fast, evidence-based decision-making

The bidirectional integration supports the data transfer of receipts, invoices, contacts, accounts, users, tax rates, purchase orders, payments, currencies and bank transactions (not all documents are supported at the lowest tier). The solution is available worldwide, enabling Xero customers in any region to leverage it.

Michael Green, GM, Partnerships (UK and EMEA) at Xero, commented, “Partnering with Dext has opened the door for improved financial visibility for our shared customers, and we are thrilled to enable direct billing on the Xero App Store.”

Enterprise Times: What does this mean?

Automation is not the reality of just Enterprise customers. For smaller organisations that have to deal with a high volume of receipts, Dext can offer affordable automation. This enables business leaders to spend time on strategic rather than administrative tasks. This latest iteration, with tighter integration into the App Store, also makes the implementation process much easier and lowers the barrier to adoption.
