Enterprise Times: What does this mean?
This is a significant move from Precisely as it looks to target the public sector in the UK. The use of analytics is critical for public sector organisations. A recent study (registration required) based on a survey of 129 chief officers, directors and heads of departments from government agencies and public bodies from the Central Gov Strategy Forum found 65% of organisations have increased spending on analytics in the last year (the highest).
Furthermore, one of the main findings from the report states, “As the amount of data available to government departments has continued to increase in recent years, the value gained from effectively harnessing this information is strongly recognised. Effective analysis of data can maximise efficiencies, streamline processes and allow for better data-informed decisions to be made.”
With multiple listings on the Digital Marketplace, Precisely will hope to rapidly increase the number of wins through the platform. The Precisely team will also be available at the upcoming Public Sector Data Summit on January 19th at the QEII Centre, Westminster, London. Being listed on G-Cloud is only the first step, and Precisely will hope it can initiate and strengthen relationships at the event and evolve prospects to customers of its data integrity solutions.
