Its was thanksgiving this week and after a flurry of news at the start of the week not surprisingly little followed, at least from the US that is. Highlights this week included some interesting research by ADP, Deloitte Digital, People First and others.
Appointments
Infor has appointed Fabio Tiviti as Vice President of its ASEAN business and operations. Tiviti previously worked at SAP.
Jitterbit has appointed Vito Salvaggio as Senior Vice President of Product Management.
Skillsoft has appointed Michelle Boockoff-Bajdek as CMO. She joins having had several senior roles at IBM. These included CMO for IBM Watson and global head of business marketing for The Weather Company, an IBM Business.
Ultimate Software has announced that co-CEO Scott Scherr will retire on 31st December 2019 after nearly 30 years at the helm. Adam Rogers, currently co-CEO will become CEO on January 1st 2020.
Unit4 has appointed James Shand as Global Head of Cloud Transformation. He joins from SAP SuccessFactors where he was Chief Customer Officer.
Wavemaker has appointed Anna Hick as President, Global Clients. She joins the Wavemake exec leadership team having been COO of Wavemaker UK. She joined the company to launch the UK operation as MD.

Cezanne HR has partnered with HFX, the SaaS workforce Management vendor to provide an integrated solution. It will offer advanced workforce management and HR systems that avoids rekeying.
Freshworks Inc has opened its third Indian Office in Hyderabad. It will hire an additional 100 engineers as it looks to boost R&D.
Upland has announced that it has completed syndication and pricing of an incremental $190 million term loan. It will use the funds to pay down $59 million on its revolving credit facility and leaves it $240 million to continue its acquisition strategy.

IFS has announced that SBM Offshore has selected IFS applications to support its digital transformation.
Impresa Pizzarotti & C. Spa will implement Infor solutions including Infor LN ERP, EAM and Birst. The civil engineering and construction will roll out the solution to around 700 users.
Murata Power Solutions (MPS) has selected the OutSystems low-code development platform to power the company’s digital innovation initiatives. MPS are aiming to deliver mobile and web applications 4-6 times faster and has plans for 20 applications already.
