James Solomides

Before co-working was cool, James joined one of Europe’s largest flexible workspace consultancies, The Instant Group, and over the next 11 years brokered deals with hundreds of companies including IBM, GSK, Lloyds of London, TSB, and Microsoft. In early 2021 James was introduced to Dan Murray, who had founded NearU and built the original app, offering a handful of workspaces in the UK. Together they agreed that the changing landscape of workspace in a post-Covid world could offer some great opportunities through this new PropTech venture. Fast forward a year, and NearU currently offers over 700 workspaces across 53 countries to thousands of users.
