Pipefy has joined the Oracle Partner Network. The announcement was made at an Oracle Partner event, “From Zero to Hero: How AI and no-code transform functionaries into agents of digital transformation and where to start.”
Pipefy already has a listing on the Oracle Partner Finder, though there is little detail on it. At the event, Pipefy demonstrated how to develop a fully customized workflow. It highlighted how the embedded AI enabled a user to build workflows without a single line of code and demonstrated how the Pipefy AI-powered platform is simple to use and can enhance productivity. On stage, Alessio Alionço, CEO of Pipefy, Leonardo Tomadon, GTM Executive of Pipefy, and Felipe Patané, AI Leader of Oracle for Latin America, shared market trends and practical use cases of AI.
Rafaela Costa, Vice President of Channels and Alliances of Pipefy, stated, “We are thrilled to join the Oracle Partner Network, a significant milestone for our company and expansion of our partner ecosystem. This Oracle partnership strengthens our market presence and further enables us to focus on building knowledge and innovative initiatives, with special emphasis on artificial intelligence. Together, Pipefy and Oracle are committed to offering advanced and efficient solutions, seeking to achieve success and satisfaction for our customers.”
How does Pipefy work with Oracle?
Pipefy integrates with Oracle eBusiness Suite using Workato, it also has an integration with Oracle NetSuite. While there are joint customers, none appear to have been made public yet. Enterprise Times asked Bernardo Marucco, Partner Marketing of Pipefy, about customers, there are some, but he was unable to share any due to approvals. Likely, there are already some in Brazil where Pipefy is based. The firm already works closely with NetSuite in the region. Alessandra Oliveira, Financial and Back-office Manager, Pipefy, commented, “Our goal with NetSuite is a long-term partnership. We know that most companies that are successful in the SaaS world use NetSuite and how much this partnership contributes to company value.”
However, this partnership seems different and more at a technology level. Enterprise Times asked Marucco which Oracle applications Pipefy will focus on around this partnership. He replied, “Right now, we’re migrating to OCI and developing projects with AI.”
The inference is that Pipefy will leverage many of the capabilities that the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure offers, including its powerful AI capabilities. While its Partner listing is thin, Pipefy has a richer presence on the Oracle Marketplace. That listing reveals that its AI-enhanced business process automation for IT, HR, Finance, and other teams is already available on OCI.
ET asked Marucco in which countries will Oracle and Pipefy work closely now and what the plans are? He said, “Brazil and US. In the future, we’re looking to other countries.”
I then asked about go-to-market initiatives. He replied, “We’re already doing joint events in Brazil, and maybe we’ll go to other countries.”
Enterprise Times: What does this mean
Pipefy has clearly worked with Oracle for some time with both Oracle NetSuite and Oracle. What is interesting about this announcement is that Pipefy is getting closer to Oracle and leveraging OCI. The Pipefy platform is built using a microservices architecture. That will allow it to leverage some of the OCI capabilities to strengthen the platform. Pipefy already uses Amazon and Heroku, so it seems unlikely that it will shift completely to the Oracle technology stack.
However, Pipefy might look to leverage some of the Oracle OCI AI capabilities. These might include OCI AI Vision or the recently announced APEX AI Assistant. There could be some interesting product announcements in the near future from Pipefy if this is the case.
