11:11 Systems has announced that it has become a Pinnacle tier partner in the award-winning Broadcom Advantage Partner Program. It has become a VMware Cloud Service Provider (VCSP) Pinnacle tier partner. 11:11 Systems now offers VMware Cloud Foundation private cloud services, including sovereign cloud services. The sovereign cloud services enables it to support data residency for customers and other compliance controls required by their industry or nation.
VMWare Cloud Foundation provides customers with an industry-leading storage and compute capability that is scalable, flexible, and secure. It includes compute using vSPehere, storage using vSAN, and full-stack network visualisation supported by NSX.
Ahmar Mohammad, Vice President, Partners, Managed Services and Solutions GTM, VMware Cloud Foundation Division at Broadcom, commented, “As a Pinnacle partner, 11:11 Systems’ expertise, experience and influence in the industry will play a crucial role in helping to lead our customers on their cloud journey. The VCSP Pinnacle tier is designed to build stronger relationships with our most valued VCSP partners to help customers implement a highly efficient cloud operating model that combines public cloud scale and agility with private cloud security and performance.”

While it means that 11:11 Systems has the technical expertise to deliver against the most complex customer issues. Broadcom also works closely with its Pinnacle Partners, ensuring that customers get the best possible solution.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean
For Broadcom VMWare, this is a bit of good news, as competitors such as SoftIron are taking advantage. After many partners abandoned the company after it reshaped its partner network. It is clear that Broadcom is intent on looking after the stronger partners, such as 11:11 Systems, within its ecosystems. This announcement shows that for companies that invest in VMWare skills and, sales and marketing, there are rewards.
What will be interesting is how many other partners VMWare upgrades to the Pinnacle level. And whether it is interested in attracting back some of those partners it has lost. For 11:11 Systems, the lack of competition with the VMWare market is good news. The elevation to the top tier makes it more likely that they can find and close deals.
