Subhash founded sensen.ai in 2007 as a spin-off from the University of Technology Sydney where he was a Computer Systems Professor. He's a world-leading expert in data fusion, specializing in video and sensor data analysis.
Hailing from Hyderabad, India, Subhash earned his PhD from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, and also studied at Harvard University. He initiated his career as a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, working on defense industry projects. Subhash received the Tan-Chin Tau Fellowship in Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, broadening his knowledge in robotics. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from JNTU, Kukatpally, India.
From 2004 to 2007, Subhash was the Professor of Computer Systems Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney, mentoring doctoral students in various fields.
In 2012, he left academia to become the CEO and CTO of SenSen, where he led the development of the SenDISA video-IoT platform and innovative applications. Under his guidance, SenSen received several innovation awards, and the company was listed on ASX in 2017 and OTCQB in 2020.
Subhash is a frequent speaker at international conferences and a charter member of the entrepreneurship organization TIE.
