At The Big Deel, the Deel virtual event held this week, the company showcased the latest product updates and shared its vision for 2026 and beyond. This week also saw the firm celebrate its seventh anniversary.
Alex Bouaziz, CEO and Co-Founder of Deel, commented, “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built in 7 years. But in many ways, it still feels like day one. There’s so much more to do, so much more to improve, and so many more opportunities ahead of us. The mission continues – and we’re just getting started.”
Deel offers a single platform for payroll, HR, benefits, mobility, performance, and device management across 150+ countries. At the Big Deel 2026, under the theme of unifying the global worker lifecycle, it delivered another huge set of updates.
Last year, Deel rolled out around 1,200 new features and improvements for its customer base of around 40,000 companies. The latest updates aim to further enhance hiring, compensation management, and workforce planning through its owned global payroll infrastructure.

Bouaziz commented, “Our strategy is to build the infrastructure that makes global work invisible. This year, we are connecting every stage of the worker lifecycle, from the initial offer to the final payout, into a single platform. We are removing the ‘fragmentation tax’ that occurs when companies stitch together disconnected tools to scale across borders.”
Deel announced five major updates within its platform during the event.
ATS Completes the Full Candidate-to-Hire Journey in Deel
Following an intensive build phase in close collaboration with early adopters, Deel today announced the general availability of its fully integrated Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Unlike traditional, standalone recruiting software that often halts at the offer stage, Deel completes the hiring and transitions candidates into onboarding. Built natively into the Deel HRIS solution, it enables organisations to extend lifecycle management for employees.
That means hiring managers and recruiters can accelerate time-to-hire and increase productivity. As every stage from candidate sourcing through to onboarding and payroll is managed within a unified platform. The ATS ensures all candidate data is captured once and flows directly into the HR system. Thus, dramatically reducing manual entry, errors, and delays that typically occur when using disconnected tools.
This release signals Deel’s commitment to making the entire candidate-to-hire journey as streamlined and efficient as possible for organisations operating in over 150 countries. The solution includes three stand-out components.
AI-Powered Efficiencies
Harnessing advanced artificial intelligence, Deel’s ATS helps companies source the best talent, both internally and externally. The system can automatically generate compelling job descriptions tailored to each role and market. Therefore, saving recruiters considerable time at the outset.
It also screens incoming applications, using intelligent algorithms to surface the most relevant candidate profiles first. Thus, ensuring hiring managers spend less time sifting through CVs and more time engaging with top talent. Additionally, by learning from previous successful hires, the AI continually improves its recommendations, making each recruitment round smarter and more targeted than the last.
Planning Alignment
Deel’s ATS is tightly integrated with the Workforce Planning module, and approved roles are pushed directly into the recruiting pipeline. Hiring activities are always fully synchronised with organisational headcount budgets, preventing unauthorised hires and better supporting strategic workforce management.
Recruiters and HR professionals can see at a glance which roles have budget approval and track the status of each vacancy. Thus minimising bottlenecks and enabling agile responses to changing business needs. This alignment is particularly valuable for global enterprises managing complex, multi-region teams.
Seamless Onboarding
When a candidate accepts an offer, their information flows directly from the ATS into Deel’s HRIS. This automatically triggers all downstream onboarding processes. This includes compliant contract generation tailored to local regulations. As well as initiating IT equipment orders and workspace setup where required.
Automating these workflows removes common onboarding delays and ensures every new joiner has a consistent, high-quality experience from day one, regardless of location. The unified platform also supports compliance by tracking every step and maintaining a single source of truth for all employee records.
Performance-Driven Pay and Planning
The latest platform expansion introduces deeper, end-to-end integration between Compensation Management and Payroll. It will empower HR and compensation teams with new levels of insight and control.
Organisations can now run global merit cycles within Deel. Hence, ensuring that performance reviews and salary adjustments are managed consistently across all locations. Real-time budget tracking enables managers to monitor compensation spend as salary and bonus changes are proposed. Detailed progress reports can be shared with executives for greater transparency.
Once merit cycles are concluded, approved compensation changes flow directly into payroll, eliminating manual data transfer and reducing the risk of errors. Furthermore, Workforce Planning is now synchronised with global salary bands from Compensation Management. Therefore, allowing HR and Finance to model headcount scenarios with local cost precision—crucial for strategic growth and compliance with regional pay equity requirements.
Integrated Global Mobility
Cross-border talent movement remains one of the most challenging aspects of global workforce management, often due to fragmented processes and disparate systems. Deel’s new Mobility platform addresses this by providing a centralised system of record for all global immigration and relocation cases, directly integrated into the core HRIS.
HR teams can now:
- Track visa statuses
- Receive automated alerts when documents are due to expire
- Initiate mobility services for everything from short-term business trips to permanent moves
The platform supports over 100 countries and is backed by in-house mobility experts, ensuring compliance and a smoother experience for both employers and employees. The solution reduces administrative overhead, mitigates compliance risks and supports the company’s goal of unifying every aspect of the worker lifecycle on a single platform.
Redesigned Mobile App with Crypto Pay and Reward Options for Global Workers
Deel has unveiled a completely redesigned mobile app. It creates a single solution for remote professionals to manage their work, pay, and team interactions from anywhere in the world.
The app introduces robust new financial tools. It allows workers to receive payments in stablecoins, securely hold crypto earnings, and earn rewards on their balances. They can achieve this without switching between multiple apps. For workers in high-inflation countries, this offers a secure, dollar-backed option to protect their earnings from currency volatility.
Employers benefit too, as they can offer these flexible, borderless pay options without adjusting their existing payroll processes. Deel’s infrastructure handles compliant fiat payroll in the background. The global rollout has begun, and all professionals are expected to have access to the new experience over the next few months. This further reinforces Deel’s commitment to innovation and financial empowerment for the modern workforce.
Enterprise-Scale Modularity
Recognising the needs of large, complex organisations, Deel is expanding the modularity of its platform to become the backbone of the enterprise tech stack. It announced new integrations with Oracle NetSuite, SAP, and Workday; however, no details on these were provided. On SuiteApp, the entry is still version 1 and dated from 2023.
However, Deel has also launched Deel Enterprise Operations. This cross-functional team helps enterprise customers remove friction across onboarding, payroll, operational governance, and compliance by assisting them in integrating Deel into their existing system(s) of record.
The team will provide dedicated managers to oversee the rollout and operation of the global HR and payroll infrastructure. This service enables enterprises to scale internationally with confidence, supported by expert guidance and a platform built for compliance, reliability, and high-volume operations. It was built for customers with over 2,000 employees.
Enterprise Times: What does this mean
Deel is a rapidly growing force in the HR and Payroll space. Through acquisitions, it has built solutions that span multiple countries faster than most of its competitors. For organisations looking for a dedicated HR and Payroll platform, it offers an alternative to established solutions such as Oracle, SAP, Workday and ADP.
This update is huge. It will take some customers’ time to analyse what is of value and what the changes mean for their organisations.
