Epicor has announced that OneKloudX has become its tenth certified channel partner for Australia and New Zealand. According to the press release Epicor issued, OneKloudX will focus on both the distribution and manufacturing sectors. However, one of its partners listing it as a manufacturing reseller and manufacturing services partner. It is authorised to resell Epicor CPQ and Epicor Kinetic.
Founded in 2018, OneKloudX has grown into one of the largest NetSuite Partners in the region, winning NetSuite Partner of the Year in 2023. It has previously been dedicated to NetSuite as an organisation. But has clearly decided that it is time to secure a partnership with a specialist manufacturing ERP vendor, Epicor.
The firm already has expertise in working with manufacturers, including Plastral, Eye Lighting and Nomad. What is positive for Epicor is the wealth of case studies that OneKloudX has already created, not an easy feat for partners, and it hopes that its Epicor customers will help continue that trend.
The release states that OneKloudX will resell and implement Epicor Kinetic and Epicor Prophet. It will be interesting to see whether that remains the case. OneKloudX appears to have the experience to help with both across Australia and New Zealand, as it looks to support the Epicor focus on organisations that make, move, and sell.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean
This is a significant addition to the Epicor Partner Program. Importantly, OneKloudX has become a certified partner, not just an authorised one. That means it has several experts who have completed the Epicor certification courses. So not only do they have industry expertise, but they also know how to implement and support the Epicor Applications.
The Epicor partner program is long-standing and recognised across the industry. Epicor has a comprehensive partner program that supports a range of partner maturity and sizes, including resellers, referral, service, and ISV partners.
For OneKloudX, it will be interesting to see how it develops its website to recognise the duality of Epicor and NetSuite partnerships. Ironically, the firm replaced Epicor with NetSuite at Eye Lighting. Is this a case where the poacher has turned gamekeeper?
It will be interesting to see whether it now moves to upgrade Epicor clients rather than replace them. The deal may also enable them to target more complex and larger manufacturing firms. Thus, leveraging the depth of industry functionality in Epicor’s ERP solution.
