Spanish Point Technologies has announced an expansion of its UK operations following several years of solid growth. From FY23 through FY25, it has seen annual revenue rise by 31% (CAGR). Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Ireland the firm sees expansion into the UK for its award-winning Microsoft Services as a solid investment.
Grand View Research estimated that the UK Digital Transformation market size is expected to grow at a CAGR of 27.7% from 2023 to 2030, from a baseline of USD 35.11 billion in 2022, reaching USD 235.69 billion. The expansion aims to increase Spanish Point Technologies’ capacity to deliver complex cloud and AI programmes to clients.
Spanish Point Technologies has a distinct advantage. It is one of only three Microsoft Partners authorised to deliver Microsoft’s AI Transformation Programme in the UK. The firm recently celebrated being named Microsoft Ireland AI Innovation Partner of the Year.
However, its customer base extends across Europe and the Americas. Customers include Business Growth Fund (BGF), Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) and Totalmobile across Europe and North America.
SOCAN has partnered with Spanish Point Technologies since 2023, helping the organisation to transform its operations.

John Corley, CEO of Spanish Point Technologies, said: “Our UK expansion reflects long-term investment in our engineering capability, IP-led product strategy, and deep Microsoft expertise.
“As organisations scale AI and cloud initiatives, they need partners with proven experience in delivering complex enterprise programmes. With dedicated UK leadership, including our recently appointed Head of Sales and a strong track record in digital transformation, we are well-positioned for the next phase of growth.”
Guiding organisations to Digital Transformation
Founded in 2005 by CEO John Corley and Chairman Donal Cullen, the firm focuses on delivery services and solutions within the Microsoft Technology stacks. Its expertise includes cloud, data, AI, and business application solutions.
The firm has helped organisations deploy Microsoft technology such as Azure, Dynamics 365, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Viva, and the Power Platform. Where standard applications are not appropriate, it helps develop, deploy, and manage agile applications by leveraging .NET’s cutting-edge capabilities.
Over the last two years, the firm has grown substantially, adding 50 employees and bringing its team to 110. Over that period, it has expanded its product portfolio and technical expertise. It now offers end-to-end services that include cloud infrastructure, AI and machine learning, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and secure, compliant data management with Microsoft Purview.
Looking forward, it intends to invest in R&D talent development and long-term partnerships to support sustained growth across the UK.
Nick Hedderman, UK&I Channel Lead, Microsoft, added: “Spanish Point Technologies combines deep engineering expertise with innovative solutions to help organisations translate cloud and AI investments into real business outcomes. Their expanded UK presence, backed by local leadership and delivery capability, means customers can modernise core systems, scale AI initiatives, and accelerate digital transformation with confidence.”
Guiding organisations through the pitfalls of AI
The MIT NANDA report (State of AI in Business 2025) found a significant (95%) failure rate for AI projects that stall before scaling and fail to deliver value. The Microsoft AI Transformation Programme aims to help organisations by ensuring the foundation for successful AI projects is in place. Through the programme, Spanish Point Technologies assists organisations in modernising their data platforms to design, develop, and scale AI applications.
The 20-day AI Transformation programme consists of an organised approach that includes:
- A structured AI assessment
- Customer workshops
- Evaluation of proposed AI use cases
- A Microsoft funding assessment
- A proposed implementation roadmap
- An estimated return on investment
Enterprise Times: What does this mean?
Corley may be referring to Eamon Breen, who joined the firm from Codec this month, as Major Account Sales Lead. The firm does not yet appear to have an office in the UK. Though it does have some employees based in London. It will be interesting to see whether announcements follow about the UK leadership and, indeed, the office location.
What isn’t clear from this announcement is exactly how much Spanish Point Technologies will invest in this expansion. And how many employees it will look to hire, specifically in the UK. There is also no mention of a new office giving the company a permanent physical presence in the UK. It will be interesting to see who Corley gets to lead the UK operation and what successes it has in 2026.
While there seems to be little information about the 20-day AI Transformation programme on the Spanish Point Technologies website, it is hosting a Microsoft Data and AI Bootcamp on 11th February.
Attendees can attend in person or virtually. The event aims to teach them how to build modern data platform and analytics solutions. Solutions that help reduce repetitive manual data work and surface valuable business insights. It offers several other Bootcamps on Microsoft Technology. It will be interesting to see whether they host one focused solely on AI in the future.
