Dreamforce news

As 50,000 attendees descend on San Francisco for the start of Dreamforce, Salesforce’s biggest partner and customer user conference, it announced the latest generation of its Agentic AI solutions. This year, it has unveiled Agentforce 360. This comprehensive platform is designed to underpin the Agentic AI that will help power Enterprises in the future.

At Dreamforce 2025, Salesforce didn’t disappoint with stronger AI partnerships and a focus on Agentic AI. With Agentforce coming of age with some impressive customer use cases across a mix of industries, with sales, services and marketing all benefitting.

One of those customers was retail giant Williams-Sonoma. It is already leveraging Agentforce across its brand portfolio to enhance customer service. Williams Sonoma is building and deploying AI Agents to support customer service engagements and enhance the customer experience for its brands.

At Dreamforce, Enterprise Times caught up with Colin Johnson, CEO and Co-Founder of Aprika, the ISV behind Mission Control. He revealed what has happened over the last year and how the PSA firm is leveraging Agentforce.

Azul

Azul announced a strategic partnership with Cast AI. To help organisations dramatically improve Java runtime performance, reduce the footprint (compute, memory) of cloud compute resources, and ultimately cut cloud spend.

By combining Azul’s high-performance Java platform, Azul Platform Prime, with Cast AI’s Application Performance Automation (APA) platform, enterprises can enhance code execution, reduce application startup times, provide greater runtime consistency and optimise Kubernetes clusters.

Databahn

Databahn, creator of the security-native data pipeline platform built for modern enterprise workloads, today announced its partnership with cloud security leader Wiz by joining the Wiz Integration Network (WIN). Together, Wiz and Databahn enable CISOs to unify security telemetry, automate data routing and tiering, and simplify operations. While preparing for the AI-driven security operations centre (SOC) of tomorrow.

WIN enables Wiz and Databahn to share prioritised security findings with context, including inventory, vulnerabilities, issues, and configuration findings. Aditya Sundararam, Chief Product Officer at Databahn, said, “Bringing together Wiz’s cloud-native security insights with Databahn’s agentic AI-powered data pipeline gives SOCs the clarity to focus on what matters most.

Deel

Deel announced a $300 million Series E funding round, valuing the company at $17.3 billion. Ribbit Capital, a new investor, co-led the round alongside its  long-time partners Andreessen Horowitz and Coatue Management.

Earlier this year, Deel surpassed $1 billion in annual recurring revenue (ARR). In September, it marked three consecutive years of profitability and a major milestone – our first $100 million revenue month.

Deltek

Deltek announced 2 updates to Maconomy in quick succession. It has released Maconomy Essentials 2025.3; we’re laying the foundation for a modernised, cloud-native future. This milestone marks the first step in a phased migration program that will bring Essentials and Flex customers into a new rhythm of quarterly updates. Introducing not just fixes, but fresh functionality, usability improvements, and the latest innovations.

The Maconomy Web Client now covers 99% of Workspace Client functionality. With Essentials 2025.3, it becomes the primary interface for the future. It then announced the release of Maconomy Essentials 2025.4. The release includes improvements to the web client, improvements to Dela, the Deltek AI Assistant, and enhancements to People Planner with release 4.8.

FourKites

FourKites released research with ABI Research exposing a costly contradiction: while 28% of supply chain executives cite working capital optimisation as their top investment driver, only 37% deploy AI for risk management — the very capability that prevents the disruptions, detention fees, and expedited freight costs that trap cash in operations.

The report, “The Execution Gap: What Supply Chain Leaders Are Saying About Technology,” surveyed 490 supply chain professionals across manufacturing, retail, and logistics. Revealing that companies are deploying AI exactly where it won’t unlock the working capital they desperately need.

Gong

Gong announced that it has been selected by Zendesk, a pioneer and market leader in delivering agentic AI-powered service, to accelerate how it launches and sells its new suite of next-generation AI products. With the revenue AI platform, Zendesk will be able to bring increased precision and efficiency to how its go-to-market teams execute to drive more revenue.

Kantata

Service Performance Insight (SPI) and Kantata announced an exclusive agreement. Making Kantata the first technology provider to embed SPI’s proprietary benchmark dataset through the newly launched SPI Inside offering. With this agreement, Kantata becomes the first and only PSA platform with the ability to access SPI Inside — a new, API-driven gateway to the industry’s most trusted professional services performance benchmarks.

In the week of its annual conference, NetApp, an Intelligent Data Infrastructure company, made several announcements.

NetApp AFX

NetApp unveiled visionary new products, strengthening its enterprise-grade data platform for AI innovation. As the era of AI shifts from initial pilots to mission-critical agentic applications, AI-ready data on modern enterprise-grade data infrastructure delivers the results needed for AI-driven businesses.

The new NetApp AFX decouples performance and capacity with a disaggregated NetApp ONTAP that runs on the new NetApp AFX 1K storage system. NetApp AI Data Engine is a secure, unified extension of ONTAP. It is integrated with the NVIDIA AI Data Platform reference design, that helps organisations simplify and secure the entire AI data pipeline. All managed via a single, unified control plane.

Together, these capabilities unify high-performance storage and intelligent data services into a single, secure, and scalable offering. This accelerates enterprise AI retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and inference across hybrid and multicloud environments.

Customers will be able to access these products through direct purchase or through a subscription to NetApp Keystone STaaS. With NetApp AFX and the NetApp AI Data Engine, the NetApp data platform ensures that all applicable data is immediately ready for AI.

NetApp Security

NetApp announced new industry-leading cyber resilience capabilities that further strengthen the most secure storage on the planet. The newly enhanced and renamed NetApp Ransomware Resilience service enables customers to make their data infrastructure a leading part of their comprehensive security strategy.

It offers integrated AI-powered ransomware detection and two new capabilities: a first-in-the-industry ability for enterprise storage to detect data breaches. And isolated recovery environments to enable safe and clean recovery of mission-critical data.

Appointment

NetApp announced the appointment of Kristine Wedum as Vice President, US Partner Organisation. Wedum will oversee the development and execution of NetApp’s channel strategies and partner ecosystem in the United States. This strategic hire aligns with NetApp’s broader growth strategy. Which focuses on strategic innovation and operational excellence. Thereby strengthening its competitive edge as the data infrastructure vendor of choice for AI workloads.

Partnerships

NetApp announced a multi-year partnership with the 49ers Foundation, the largest team foundation in the NFL. This will provide data science education to high school students in the San Francisco Bay Area. The 49ers EDU Data Analytics Lessons Series aims to inspire and equip the next generation of tech leaders with essential data science skills. And introduce students to career opportunities in technology.

NetApp, Broadcom, Inc., and Kochasoft, a trusted provider of enterprise solutions, announced a collaboration with Equinix, the world’s digital infrastructure company. Together they offer a new service for SAP S/4HANA & SAP Legacy Workloads running on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).

SAP customers currently running or planning to move to S/4HANA have a path to move to a hosted virtualised managed services environment running VCF and NetApp ONTAP to optimise cost, efficiency, and security.

NetApp and Red Hat announced an expanded collaboration to deepen their joint development efforts and accelerate the adoption of Red Hat OpenShift Virtualisation across on-premises and public cloud environments. Through this enhanced collaboration, Red Hat and NetApp are helping customers more easily modernise their IT environments. And navigate the complexities of migrating cloud-native workloads with greater confidence.

NetApp announced a collaboration with Cisco to deliver a significant evolution in converged infrastructure. Building on over 20 years of work together. The newly introduced NetApp AFX architecture now integrates with Cisco Nexus switches for intra-cluster connectivity and will soon extend to FlexPod AI. This integration continues the companies’ shared vision of providing customers with an enterprise-grade foundation for AI.

NetApp announced that it has deepened its collaboration with Google Cloud to help customers accelerate cloud transformation and address critical business challenges. New block storage capabilities in Google Cloud NetApp Volumes enhance unified storage for today’s most important data workloads. Including virtualised environments, self-managed databases, and AI innovation.

Panasonic

Northern Ireland Ambulance Service

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) has successfully deployed a cutting-edge digital solution to transform patient care across its fleet of emergency response vehicles. In partnership with Ortivus and Panasonic, NIAS has equipped vehicles with the Ortivus MobiMed electronic patient care record (ePCR) system. This is powered by the rugged TOUGHBOOK G2 2-in-1 detachable tablet.

MobiMed enables NIAS crews to quickly create digital patient records during and after responding to an incident. First responders can now record and transmit vital data in real-time. Such as ECGs and medical history, which go directly to hospital teams before arrival. This enables faster, better-informed decisions and improved continuity of care.

NIAS provides emergency and urgent care, non-emergency transport, and specialist services to approximately 1.9 million people in Northern Ireland. The MobiMed ePCR rollout supports the Department of Health’s e-Strategy to ensure patient information is available when and where it’s needed, with appropriate safeguards.

Stadler

Panasonic Factory Solutions has implemented its TAWERS G4 Welding Robot System for STADLER Anlagenbau. A manufacturer of specialist systems for turnkey recycling and waste sorting plants. This automates manual welding processes, vastly reducing welding cycle times and increasing production line efficiency and scalability.

Knox Company

Thomson Reuters

Thomson Reuters announced a new wave of AI-powered innovations that extend the momentum of CoCounsel Legal. The latest enhancements are headlined by the beta launch of Deep Research on Practical Law. This expands the organisation’s agentic capabilities and integrates more deeply with trusted Thomson Reuters content.

In addition, there is now a deep product integration between CoCounsel and HighQ. Also, CoCounsel in French, German and Japanese will be available to customers from October in French, German and Japanese.

Workday

Investment in Ireland

Workday announced a new AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Dublin, Ireland — the organisation’s EMEA headquarters — to accelerate European innovation. The new centre comes with a three-year €175 million investment and the creation of 200 specialised AI roles.

The investment, supported by the Government of Ireland, significantly expands Dublin’s role in Workday’s global innovation strategy. Since 2008, Workday’s team in Dublin has led key R&D efforts. Delivering core AI-embedded solutions like Workday Learning and Workday Assistant. The new AI CoE will accelerate AI innovation, expand partnerships across Ireland’s innovation network, and build critical AI skills.

Higher Education Momentum

Workday announced significant global momentum in the higher education industry. With more than 650 institutions across 19 countries having selected Workday to drive their transformations. This milestone underscores the growing demand for Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), Workday Financial Management, and Workday Student. As institutions leverage these AI-powered solutions to support student and employee success.

The surge in new customers comes at a time of intense change for higher education institutions. Declining enrolment, rising costs, increased regulations, decreased funding, and rising student expectations are driving institutions to adopt AI to improve student outcomes, streamline operations, control costs, and sustain their missions.

Newly signed US customers, including Loyola University Chicago, Macalester College, and Swarthmore College, build on the momentum Workday is seeing with Denison University, New York Institute of Technology, The College of William and Mary, and the University of Wisconsin System, all of which went live in recent months.

Further adding to this momentum is Workday’s growing global customer footprint. Workday Rising EMEA

Workday announced the headline speakers and partner sponsors for Workday Rising EMEA. Zoho

New AI Enhancements across portfolio

Zoho announced the implementation of new agentic AI features embedded across three major product categories. Thus, empowering customer growth, saving time on routine tasks, and allowing users to focus on higher-value work. These tools, now available for free across Zoho’s Collaboration, Customer Experience, and Human Resources apps, eliminate the key roadblocks that have slowed widespread business adoption of essential AI features.

These features arrive shortly after the introductions of two key pillars of Zoho’s emergent AI strategy: Zia Hubs, which grants AI access to unstructured company data, and Zia LLM, Zoho’s proprietary large language model and the first LLM built specifically for B2B. Alongside Zia, Zoho’s decade-old advanced AI assistant, these products provide the foundation for today’s agentic releases and future updates. Thus, offering businesses greater utility of their data across Zoho’s 55+ app platform.

Zoho Learn

Zoho has introduced learning paths in Zoho Learn LMS. A learning path is a structured and curated roadmap. Where learners have to undertake a series of courses to reach a specific goal. Learning paths help create a progressive learning culture. Where learners undertake a series of courses to become proficient in their roles. Learning paths can also be used to provide targeted training for specific teams in your company.

National Informatics Centre (NIC)

Zoho published details of how the Government of India employees have implemented a rebranded version of Zoho Workplace. Including Zoho Mail, Zoho Workdrive, Zoho Meeting, Zoho Cliq, Zoho Writer, Zoho Sheet, Zoho Show and Zoho Contacts. To enhance security, the organisation has also deployed Zoho OneAuth and Mobile Device Management. Zoho has migrated over 11 lakh (1.1 million) government accounts.
