Who is Ed Parsons?

Parsons joins from ISC2. At ISC2 he led strategic planning for international markets as Vice President of Global Markets and Member Relations. He also led the member engagement strategy, working collaboratively across the organisation, with partners and volunteers to enhance member experience worldwide. He joined the company in 2022 as Director of UK and Europe.

Prior to ISC2, he was EVP Consulting at F-Secure, having been promoted from UK Managing Director of Consulting. He also held leadership roles at MWR InfoSecurity.

Parsons’ most recent position was as Vice-President Global Markets and Member Relations for ISC2, the world’s largest cybersecurity membership organisation. His prior career includes service as Executive Vice-President, Consulting for F-Secure Corporation; Director of MWR Security [acquired by F-Secure in 2018], and a senior Manager Cyber Security at KMPG.

He started his career as a management consultant at KPMG. With a career spanning over twenty years, he possesses a deep understanding of the cybersecurity market and leadership.

Parsons has a Post Graduate diploma in countering organised crime & Terrorism from UCL. And a 1st class honours degree in History, Defence and Modern Irish History from UCL. He is also a chartered Cyber Security Professional and Certified Chief Information Security Officer, and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Ed Parsons commented, “I’m looking forward to drawing on my experiences of working within larger organisations to help set up Intigriti for the next stage of its development. Like Intigriti, I am all about ‘quality of service’, and this is what I will be aiming to maintain and improve as we scale up this business.

“With Intigriti, I see a terrific opportunity to help international companies manage risk, encapsulating my career focus to date. And Intigriti also enables me to contribute to growing the world’s community of ethical security hackers, which is a personal passion.”

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

Parson has deep experience in leading teams across a range of organisations. Importantly, he understands how global enterprise companies approach and manage risk. He will be able to help evolve Intigriti to be an organisation that can scale. Thus, adding more customers alongside the right processes to cope with that growth.

That growth is happening now with eight open positions across Sales, Customer Success and Security operations. It will be interesting to see how he helps evolve Intigriti in the future.
