Three of the announcements brought together components that underpin how Workday and its partners will bring Agentic AI solutions to customers.

Aera Technology has revealed that its Decision Intelligence (DI) software is enabling customers to achieve significant waste reductions. A survey of customers shows that some are reducing waste by 20%. For large customers such as AstraZeneca, that amounts to tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars saved. This has a direct impact on the company’s bottom line, from product development to packaging and even shipping costs.

It is based on a survey of 600 Legal procurement, IT and finance professionals across the US and UK.

Contentful has released a new study, ‘When Machines Make Marketers More Human,’ challenging the notion that AI will replace many marketing functions. The report demonstrates how AI can amplify marketers’ effectiveness, creativity, and impact.

CPiO published a report that looked at the impact tariffs have had on SME Finance strategy. The report, “International Tariff Turmoil: How Global Trade Policy is Rewriting UK SME finance strategy”.

Emergn has published a report, “The Global Intelligent Delusion” (registration required), examining how organisations are approaching AI. The report found that 77% of leaders cited new AI solutions as a business value driver in the next 12 months. This is only slightly below the 81% that cited efficiency as a business driver.

To support the growth of AI, 88% have invested in product management (roles, tools or processes), with 44% hiring a chief product officer. A lack of trained staff is the key barrier to successful transformation. 31% stated that they incur delays due to a lack of training. This problem is highlighted by 28% of respondents who say they suffer from staff churn.

AnywhereNow

AnywhereNow announced that Tendfor is gaining significant traction with Fortune 500 US companies using the Microsoft Teams-native voice platform for enterprises. This signals that innovation drives real traction.

To further extend reach, AnywhereNow is deepening its channel footprint across North America. New reseller and distribution partnerships have been signed to further their distribution into the US and Canadian markets.

Expereo

An IDC InfoBrief commissioned by Expereo, titled “Enterprise Horizons 2025: Technology Leaders Priorities: Achieving Digital Agility.” Revealed that global businesses are facing mounting challenges in their growth ambitions. This is due to persistent skills shortages in critical technology areas. As AI becomes more deeply embedded in business strategy, organisations are struggling to find or retain talent in key domains such as networking (39%), cybersecurity (40%), and Data/AI/automation (33%).

Infor

Atturra announced that it has reinforced its IT services relationship with Infor, having been appointed an Infor M3 reseller across Australia and New Zealand. As an Infor M3 reseller, Atturra will support mid-market enterprises. Including food and beverage, distribution, equipment, fashion, and industrial manufacturing industries, with Infor’s ERP cloud software.

Atturra will provide pre- and post-sales technical expertise, as well as deployment support. Thus, enabling Infor customers to operate more strategically and efficiently. While harnessing new opportunities across AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.

Designed for legal and business teams, Intellistack Streamline CLM accelerates the contract process—from creation to negotiation to signature—without the restrictions and surprises of traditional per-user or per-envelope pricing.

Interprefy

Interprefy announced that multilingual meetings have just received a major upgrade with the latest release of Interprefy Now, the AI-powered live translation app for professional meetings.

Planful announced that Somea Partners has become a Planful partner. Headquartered in Berlin, Somea Partners specialises in CFO-on-demand services, delivering highly personalised support to help companies navigate growth with confidence.

Thomson Reuters

Thomson Reuters announced it has acquired Additive. The San Francisco-based startup, founded in 2023, uses cutting-edge AI to automate tax document processing for tax and accounting professionals.

Additive’s GenAI-native platform streamlines the repetitive, time-consuming task of ingesting and parsing pass-through entity documents. Including Schedule K-1 federal tax forms, during tax preparation workflows. This transaction complements Thomson Reuters’ existing tax workflow automation capabilities.

VertiGIS

VertiGIS has established a Sovereign Cloud Strategy framework with a longstanding strategic partner, T-Systems, a leading European IT services provider. This supports the digital transformation of public services across DACH by enabling secure, cloud-based management of critical land and cadastral data.

Using the Open Telekom Cloud (OTC), part of Deutsche Telekom and operated by T-Systems’ data centres in Germany, VertiGIS customers can collect, process, and share sensitive cadastral data while meeting stringent data protection regulations, such as the GDPR.

Workday

At Workday Rising, Workday made several big announcements, some of which are mentioned above. The full list is included.

Workday announced that more than 15 Workday Ventures portfolio companies have signed on to the Workday Agent Partner Network. They join a growing ecosystem of partners building AI agents that will connect with the Workday Agent System of Record (ASOR).

Workday also announced a new collaboration with Microsoft to help organisations securely manage their people and AI agents across their platforms. Customers who build AI agents using Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio will be able to easily register and manage them within the Workday Agent System of Record (ASOR).

Workday has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Sana, a leading AI company building the next generation of enterprise knowledge tools. Sana will power a new Workday experience—where knowledge, data, action, and learning come together as one and create the new front door for work.

It announced Workday Build, a new developer platform that gives customers and partners the power to create, share, and scale AI-powered solutions directly on Workday.

Workday announced Workday Data Cloud, a new data layer that will help organisations unlock the strategic value of their HR and finance data by connecting it to their existing analytics platforms and operational systems. Customers will get rich, secure, real-time access to insights – turning workforce and financial information into action faster than ever.

Workday announced new Workday Illuminate agents for HR, Finance, and Industry. Illuminate agents are purpose-built for work—embedded in HR and Finance, powered by Workday’s unmatched data and context, and designed to deliver measurable outcomes. The new agents take on some of the most complex processes—like performance reviews, workforce planning, and financial close—helping organisations work smarter, faster, and with greater confidence.

Zoho

Zoho announced some major updates to its applications running on iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, and WatchOS 26. They include specific updates to Zoho Solo, Zoho Notebook, Zoho Writer, Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory and Zoho Expense.
