A busy time for Workday

May and June have been a busy time period for Workday. The company revealed seven new Illuminate Agents to help organisations automate their finance and HR processes. The announcement follows the revelation of agents at both Workday Rising US and Workday Rising EMEA last year. These new agents address three challenges within business. They automate frontline worker processes, streamline finance processes and help employees retrieve information quickly.

Earlier in the month, Workday announced the Workday Agent Partner Network. A global ecosystem of partners building AI agents that will connect with the Workday Agent System of Record (ASOR).

Industry leaders including Accenture, Adobe, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Auditoria.AI, Compa, Deloitte, Glean, Google Cloud, IBM, Kainos, KPMG, Microsoft, Paradox, PwC, Salesforce, and WorkBoardAI are among the first to partner with Workday. The partnership aims to help joint customers thrive in a future where AI agents are a central part of how work gets done.

Workday also announced Agent Gateway, which will enable customers to seamlessly connect and manage AI agents from Workday and its Agent Partner Network within the Workday Agent System of Record.

The company also announced a new unified, AI developer toolset to support Workday Illuminate directly into the hands of customer and partner developers. This will enable them to easily customise and connect AI apps and agents on the Workday platform.

Enterprise Times: What this means for  business

This partnership reflects Workday’s continued growth in the facilities management sector. It also demonstrates the increasing demand for modern, employee-centric HR and payroll solutions. Churchill Group expects this partnership to enhance employee experience, drive operational efficiency and support its long-term growth. Workday says its platform is built with AI at the core.

The solution is designed to help customers elevate people, supercharge work and move their business forever forward. Today’s workforce is increasingly becoming a hybrid force that will be both human and digital. The deal will enable the Churchill Group to more effectively use AI to support the back office processes and systems. As a result, these employees can focus on more productive activities that generates revenues to the bottom line.
