Formstack has rebranded to Intellistack, with a new logo and branding. The change also signalled a move of the headquarters. The company will now be based out of Denver, Colorado, rather than Fishers, Indiana. It will retain a small presence in Fishers in the future.
The shift to the Mile High City reflects an elevated company vision that will see it delivering progressive software solutions, including the newly launched Intellistack Streamline.
Formstack was originally founded in 2006. Its mission was “we automate the mundane so our customers can do their magic.” The initial product enabled customers to create digital forms, generate documents, and collect digital signatures.
It automates document processes through workflows that enable the forms to seamlessly integrate with other applications in customers’ technology stack. Its new strapline appears to be “Empowering productivity through intelligent automation.”
The product has now evolved considerably, and Formstack as a name appears dated as the platform does far more today. For example, Intellistack Streamline is a no-code data orchestration and automation platform that connects disparate data sources, enabling the flow of information across an organisation’s digital and physical footprint with zero data retention.
Powered by AI, this next-generation platform has moved the company beyond forms and into supporting the technology stack with intelligence.

Chris Benham, Chief Marketing Officer at Intellistack, commented, “These changes are so much more than just a rebrand. They reflect our transformation, based on the belief that we want to provide our customers with amazing solutions that they did not even think were possible.
“Additionally, the Denver / Boulder workforce gives us what we need to make these changes possible: educated, innovative, energetic, and passionate people, exactly the team that we need to pursue our vision at Intellistack.”
Why Intellistack?
The company name is formed of two parts:
“Intelli” represents the intelligence now embedded into how our customers design, automate, and optimise work, from a cutting-edge data security layer and AI-enhanced processes to smart routing and analytics.
“Stack” reflects the modular, integrated nature of our offering. Customers can use just one product or build a full stack—connecting tools, teams, and tasks across the organisation.
While the Formstack products are still available, the new brand represents the broader platform, which includes tools acquired through Formsite and Open Raven, as well as the newly launched Intellistack Streamline.
New City, new look
The new company headquarters is located in Cherry Creek, southwest of downtown Denver. The office will have 50 people working within it, roughly a quarter of the overall workforce. The company has leased additional office space to allow further expansion of the Denver workforce.
Enterprise Times asked Intellistack’s Ennis Al-Asaaed, Vice President of Product Management why it decided to move to Denver. Al-Asaaed replied, “There is a strong, dynamic, educated workforce in Denver. The primary Denver roles are sales, marketing, people, finance, and support. That will expand to other roles as well.”
Intellistack currently has three open positions in Denver. The logo is a stylised arrow pointed towards Intellistack. Each block in the arrow has a different colour. What do those colours mean, though?
Al-Asaaed replied, “Consolidation is the biggest concept, and that all those colors exist within black or white. So the culmination/point of the logo is the collection of all colors/products/companies/features/people inside the company.”
Enterprise Times: What does this mean
Benham has put together a carefully thought-out rebranding. The website is fully updated, and the company names are retained alongside the different technology solutions, nodding to its historical naming convention.
The Intellistack name makes better sense than some company choices and does reflect the company’s evolution. It has picked a word that makes sense. However, it is not the only company to use the name, with a small Business Consulting and Services firm based in New York that has been in existence since 2022. It will be interesting to see whether they change their name, as their website appears to still be under construction.
Aled Miles, CEO of Intellistack, summarised saying, “Formstack was built to help organizations simplify work. Intellistack is built to help them transform it. Our new name reflects the bold innovation we’re delivering across AI, automation, and data activation—and signals the future of how intelligent work gets done.”
