Learning - image by PIxabay\GeraltAI is slowly changing how learning services are delivered. It offers the promise of scalability, flexibility and personalisation. VinciWorks has launched Conversational Learning, an AI-powered training capability that transforms how compliance training is rolled out across organisations. AI eliminates the barriers provided by time zones, language and availability. It is always ready to deliver a personalised conversational training experience to users globally.

Compliance training is often bottom of the priority list for people to attend or pay attention to. Conversational Learning offers a learning experience that is interactive, responsive and personalised to the needs of every individual within an organisation.

The solution can adapt as an employee undergoes the learning experience. It can text for understanding and deliver training in modes suited to each learner, whether that is textual or visual. Every learning experience becomes a conversation that is more memorable. Thus ensuring that the training is better seated in the end user’s mind.

Shmuli Goldberg, Head of AI and Chief Marketing Officer at VinciWorks, commented, “It’s not just about passing a course; it’s about engaging your participants and protecting your business.

“Conversational Learning combines the science of retention with the power of generative AI to deliver training that people actually remember and apply. Compliance training, if done right, should not be a hindrance, but should empower employees to make decisions and act independently while keeping business safe.”

Championing Conversational Learning

The learning pyramid was a term first coined by Edgar Dale in his 1946 book ‘Audio-Visual Methods in Teaching’. Since then, the National Training Laboratories Institute for Applied Behavioural Science (NTL) developed the concept. The CPD identifies that different learning methods have different levels of effectiveness.

Traditional lecture-based Learning delivers only a 5% retention. The more active the participant in the learning experience, the higher the retention rate climbs. Other active learning experiences include:

  • Reading – 10% retention
  • Audio-visual – 20% retention
  • Demonstration – 30% retention
  • Discussion – 50% retention
  • Hands-on experience – 75% retention
  • Teaching others – 90% retention

VinciWorks delivers

VinciWorks believes that a conversational experience that includes many of these learning styles can enable users to benefit from a high level of retention—the more interactive a learning experience, the better the benefits. The conversational learning platform delivers a fully active learning experience that can evolve based on each person’s responses.

The proprietary solution understands multiple languages. Thus, ensuring that multi-national firms can deliver a consistent learning experience to all users, regardless of their location and language skills. The solution has over 20 years of scenarios and case studies baked in. Thus, enabling users to undergo an experience more akin to coaching than Learning, where responses are listened to and answered.

Ultimately, the solution encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and behaviour change.

Goldberg added, “We’ve seen repeatedly that improved engagement leads to improved retention, comprehension and behaviour. The feedback we’ve received from customers confirms what we believed: when people are truly engaged, they learn better – and businesses become safer as a result.”

The solution comes at a time when organisations must strengthen their risk stance against fraud, cybersecurity threats, harassment, and other compliance matters. Human errors are often the major cause of failures within the organisation, whether due to susceptibility to social engineering attacks or other issues.

What the courses contain

Each course delivers a learning experience in the attendee’s natural language. The solution enables an attendee to hold a normal, honest conversation with the AI about the subject matter. The AI will adapt to the user’s understanding of the topic.

For example, a user will only move forward on a course once they have grasped the fundamental understanding of each element. It means the learning experience is more comprehensive, practice-based and does not rely on end-of-course exams.

The platform generates reports for managers that highlight each user’s individual strengths and weaknesses, tracking their progress through the material. Content varies, from audio to text to video case studies, that provoke critical thinking about each challenge highlighted. As an adaptive course, it means that there is no perfect set of answers, and each session can uniquely adapt to each user.

For subjects such as harassment, bribery, and money laundering, specific scenarios gauge the user’s understanding. Thus, enabling them to ask questions and provide answers to improve their understanding of each topic. VinciWorks is also able to embed company-specific policies within the course material, ensuring that each course is delivered to a standard and consistency for every organisation that takes advantage of it.

Well received

Early adopters are impressed. Richard Rowan, Head of Learning and Development. “We were thrilled to be part of the beta testing for Conversational Learning. In fact, 84% of our trial users found Conversational Learning more engaging than traditional eLearning. And 84% said they felt motivated to complete the training. But what really stood out for me was the feedback loop.

“The AI-generated report didn’t just show who passed; it revealed how people think. It highlighted vulnerabilities, gave clear next steps, and delivered real insights I can act on. That’s incredibly valuable for anyone in L&D. It’s exactly what we need to make the training stick.”

Prices were not published with the press release and appear to be available on request.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

VinciWorks is at the forefront of training with this AI-powered compliance training module. What will be interesting to see is a real case study of the impact of this training and how it has directly enabled a company to meet its compliance requirements.

One advantage of this kind of training is that organisations do not have to translate the material into multiple languages to roll out worldwide. Instead, the VinciWorks platform provides every course in multiple languages. It isn’t clear how many are supported, though.

There are some additional questions about how AI works and whether organisations can embed their own policies and case studies to further enhance the platform. For larger organisations that face huge compliance training challenges, this platform will be worth a look.
