Anthesis targets opportunity in US with Infor and IFS - Image by Gerd Altmann from PixabayAnthesis, the IFS and Infor gold partner, has announced the launch of its US subsidiary, Anthesis Global Inc. Founded in 2009, Anthesis has delivered consultancy, implementation and customisation services in the UK and over 30 other countries for both ERP solutions. Anthesis has delivered successful projects for both vendors and has developed specific industry expertise that will help deliver digital transformation programmes for US organisations.

Tom Constantine, Joint CEO of Anthesis Ltd, commented, “This is a pivotal moment in the growth of our company. With the launch of Anthesis Global Inc., we are not only expanding our footprint into the US but also reinforcing our commitment to helping businesses succeed through digital transformation.

“Our ever-growing team of experienced ERP consultants will now be able to work closely with US companies to help design, implement, optimize and support tailored ERP solutions that drive value and competitive advantage.”

What will Anthesis Global offer

For IFS, Anthesis Global will bring its expertise in Chemical, Industrial manufacturing and project-based businesses to the US. Importantly, IFS only has around 40 service partners in the US, and with existing customers should be able to offer solid references for clients. In comparison, Infor has around 115 partners in North America. It is a crowded market.

However, Anthesis has developed micro-industry-specific implementations for Infor products in the Pet Food & animal feed industries as well as distribution and food & beverage. While the legal landscape for the pet food and animal feed industries is different in the US, it will be interesting to see if it leads with that product.

Existing customers for both vendors are also globally known. Infor customers include Haribo, Barbour and Tiptree, while IFS customers include Waterlogic, Fragrance Oils and Electrix. Anthesis Global will focus on delivering world-class ERP solutions, digital transformation services, and strategic consultancy to businesses across North America.

Anthesis Global Inc. will offer a range of services, including:

  • ERP System Implementation and Optimization
  • Business Process Management and Reengineering
  • Digital Transformation Consulting
  • Cloud-based ERP Solutions
  • Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
  • Training and Support Services

Why now?

While there is still room for growth in the UK, the lure of the US market is huge. It is expected to reach US$27.82 billion in 2025 alone. By 2029, that will grow at a CAGR of 2.82% to US$31.09 billion (Source: Statista).

Anthesis believes it has the expertise and tools to deliver a valuable service to specific industries in the US. It believes it is well positioned to meet the growing demand and can offer the right transformative solutions to help North American organisations enhance performance, scalability, and innovation.

Charles Noden, Joint CEO of Anthesis Global Inc, commented, “As businesses continue to embrace digital transformation, we believe that our expertise in ERP systems will be a game-changer for companies in the US.

“Our growing team in the US is already excited to collaborate with American organizations, helping them optimize their operations and unlock new growth opportunities with customized ERP solutions.”

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

What isn’t clear is how large the Anthesis presence is in the US. On LinkedIn, Anthesis has no employees based in the region, and there are no open job roles in North America. There also does not yet appear to be a presence on LinkedIn or the web for an Anthesis Global Inc. entity. Hopefully, that will be rectified soon, and the Anthesis website will be changed to reflect the global status.

There are clear opportunities for Anthesis in the US. Still, it will have challenges, as many organisations have proven before. The US can be a land of opportunity or a graveyard for UK firms. Hopefully, Anthesis will thrive and grow. The two-pronged ERP vendor approach gives it double the chance of success as it looks to build relationships and a pipeline of business.
