Cleo has announced a partnership with Saksoft, a data-driven technology services company that works in the Fintech, Logistics and transportation, Healthtech, and Utilities sectors. The partnership is focused on the logistics sectors. It will see Saksoft help customers use the Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) platform for EDI by leveraging the API automation provided by CIC.
The announcement is timely. Gartner estimates that by 2026, “70% of supply chain organizations will have implemented at least one AI-enabled EDI system to enhance supply chain connectivity and decision-making capabilities.”
CIC provides EDI connectivity, and Saksoft helps organisations leverage the platform to improve the use, efficiency and productivity of EDI within the business. CIC was developed to fast-track the implementation of EDI through templates and mapping tools that Saksoft can guide customers on. Once installed, dashboards with predictive analytics enable faster and better decision-making.
Aditya Krishna, Chairman and MD of Saksoft, commented, “In today’s fast-paced and complex logistics landscape, companies are seeking greater transparency in their EDI and API integrations so they can proactively monitor and optimize their processes. We view Cleo Integration Cloud as a comprehensive solution that provides any-to-any integration capabilities, as well as valuable analytics and real-time visibility into these integrations, giving our customers control over their supply chains.
“We are thrilled about our partnership with Cleo and look forward to continued collaboration and shared achievements in the future.”
What does CIC offer Saksoft customers?
Saksoft is already working with Cleo on joint marketing initiatives. It recently hosted a webinar that explains how organisations can leverage EDI solutions to optimize connected supply chains and drive operational efficiency. (Registration required).
The webinar explains how CIC can help organisations to leverage EDI through its real-time integration platform. It allows organisations real-time data visibility, which enables real-time insights into supply chain data.
The Cleo Integration Cloud platform offers several advantages to logistics operations, including:
- B2B Integration via EDI and API
- Real-time Data and Visibility
- ERP and eCommerce Connectivity
- Scalability and Security via the Cloud
- Enhanced Operations Efficiency
- Competitive Differentiation
- Continuous Innovation
Ken Lyons, Chief Revenue Officer at Cleo, said, “Partnering with Saksoft is a tremendous opportunity to further empower logistics companies with the tools they need to stay ahead in an increasingly competitive industry. By combining Saksoft’s technological expertise with Cleo’s innovative ecosystem integration software, customers can experience seamless EDI and API integration, real-time data, and greater operational efficiency. This partnership represents a significant step forward in optimizing logistics operations and delivering superior customer outcomes.”
Enterprise Times: What does this mean
Headquartered in India, Saksoft has 16 offices worldwide including Europe, Asia and the USA. With 2,500 employees, it is a useful relationship for Cleo as it looks to expand globally. What Saksoft and Cleo need next is some customer stories. Stories that can demonstrate the advantages CIC and Saksoft services brought to them.
Saksoft has kicked off the relationship quickly with a webinar to explain Cleo’s benefits to existing customers. It will be interesting to see what interest that generates.
Cleo itself has already begun 2025 with a bang. In January, it acquired DataTrans Solutions to enhance its Procurement capabilities and launched Shipper Relationship Manager. The solution enables 3PLs, freight brokers, and carriers to better manage their performance against shippers’ expectations via real-time, proactive insights and scorecards. In turn, this will help strengthen relationships and improve revenue capture as targets are better tracked and attained.
