Ahead of MWC, Lifecycle Software has launched the Nexus App for Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs). The new application is a fully brandable mobile application that enables MVNOs to roll out to their users a mobile application that will enable them to manage their mobile services.
The application saves MVNOs the time and cost of developing their mobile application themselves. The functionality will enable MVNO customers to check balances, purchase add-ons, activate services, receive push notifications and make payments using an intuitive mobile interface.
Telecom companies can fully brand the application, applying their own logos, colour schemes, pricing, and plans. Nexus MVNE includes an intuitive content management system that allows organisations to deploy new content across customer mobile devices. Once the CMS is configured, MVNOs can release the application to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Nexus MVNE already enables MVNO’s to launch a new service in as little as three months. The ability to add a mobile app to customers ensures that the barrier to entry into the market is made even lower. As MVNOs look to differentiate themselves from competitors and are able to offer enterprise-level capabilities that mobile users expect today.
Ross Devereux, R&D Director at Lifecycle Software, commented, “The Nexus App is designed to remove barriers for both telecom operators and end users. Built with React Native, it delivers a unified experience across mobile platforms, while its API-driven architecture enables seamless integration with existing systems, eliminating costly migrations or additional middleware.
“It’s cloud-based, making it highly scalable, fast, and cost-effective. The app makes it easier than ever for MVNO customers to sign up and manage their services—right from their sofa, without needing a desktop or a browser.”
Nexus MVNE revamped
The launch of the Mobile Application coincides with the revamp of the Nexus digital experience. Lifecycle Software has also updated the front end of Nexus MVNE. The update covers the sales portal for customer acquisition and automated onboarding, as well as self-care for in-life management.
The update focuses on the customer experience and makes the platform more consistent, engaging, and efficient for consumers. Nexus MVNE now integrates with OAuth for logins, delivering better security.
The platform also supports eSim journeys. Thus, enabling customers to purchase new eSIMS from within the application without having to use a QR Code. Customers can also unlock multi-SIMs, connected devices, and roaming offers.

Lifecycles estimated that it automates 99% of transactions, processing an average of 1000 transactions per second, each within milliseconds. Customers include Three, SMARTY Mobile, Plusnet and OnOff Telecom.
Liz Parry, CEO of Lifecycle Software, highlights how Nexus is a one-stop solution for MVNOs. “Nexus is shaping how leading operators deliver their services to millions of people. With the Nexus App, we’re taking this innovation a step further, offering an intuitive, mobile-first experience that integrates all the essential tools MVNOs need to operate efficiently, grow their customer base, and reduce operational complexity.”
Enterprise Times: What does this mean
Mobile Virtual Network Operators need to be able to launch quickly and provide modern tools for their customers to interact with their mobile provider. By providing a mobile application, consumers can quickly find what they want. Thus, lowering the friction that a website often creates with end users. The addition of OAuth also ensures that consumers know they are working with a trusted partner.
While little information is available about how much the MVNOs can customise the new application, it appears comprehensive. Attendees at the Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, can take a closer look on March 3rd – 6th in Hall 2, Stand 2G11.
