Appointments

Anumana, the digital transformation and AI solutions consultancy startup, has appointed Ben Ecroyd as its first Chief Commercial Officer.

Workday has appointed Rob Enslin as Chief Commercial Officer in a newly created role.

Workday has announced that the International Schools Partnership (ISP), a leading global network of schools committed to providing transformative education, has deployed and gone live on Workday Human Capital Management (HCM).

Financial

Cloud Management platform emma has announced the closing of a $17 million series A funding round. The round was led by Smartfin, a leading European venture capital firm.

Litera has acquired Office & Dragons for an undisclosed amount. Litera says this will boost its LegalTech offering by adding automation and generative AI to drafting and editing documents.

Workday announced its third-quarter results and saw its shares dip slightly despite strong growth and high retention.

GoCardless has announced a partnership with Total Grassroots and kit manufacturer Kelme. This is to help grassroots football clubs make the payment process easier and fund kits.

Eseye and Sateliot are to partner to integrate satellite and terrestrial communications seamlessly. The goal is to revolutionise 5G services using advanced LPWAN satellite technology.

Product

At OpenText World 2024 in Las Vegas, the company showed off Phase 7 of its Titanium X architecture.

Pulseway has announced Pulseway Assist, a set of generative AI solutions that will increase the efficiency of users for its PSA solution.

Robling, a provider of retail data analytics, and AnswerRocket, a pioneer in generative AI analytics, have launched their GenAI retail analytics platform.

Qntrl, a Zoho brand and the vendor behind a leading business process management (BPM) platform has released the latest version of its solution.

Research

Makip reveals how customers are embracing its size recommendation engine, Unisize, in Japan, significantly helping retailers and parents alike. The solution is now available in the UK.

New research commissioned by Storyblok suggests that 93% of marketers and developers say their current CMS is falling their business. This belief is despite businesses spending an average of $453,126 on martech per year.

Fortude

A global digital solutions company which has been an Infor Alliance partner for over a decade. It announced that it has been appointed an Infor Channel Partner for Australia and New Zealand. Fortude already has a strong presence in the US, Asia and Europe.

Refreshed Partner program

At Velocity Summit, Infor unveiled a new partner program that will commence in January 2025. The new program has been trialled by 28 global partners already. The new program is aimed at those partners that are focused on supporting SaaS. Both ERP Today and Reseller New Zealand covered the announcement last week. Though Infor has not yet issued a press release.

Interprefy

Interprefy is celebrating its 10th anniversary and its leadership and innovation in Remote Simultaneous Interpretation (RSI) technology. Founded in 2014 by Kim Ludvigsen, who currently serves as Vice Chairman, Interprefy began as a modest startup. It has since grown into a leading force in the industry.

Chief Executive Officer Oddmund Braaten said, “I’ve been fortunate enough to be part of Interprefy’s growth and success over much of the last decade, over which time we have helped deliver over 100,000 multilingual events. The AI and machine translation sector is set to reach a TAM of $3 billion by 2034. Makip

The implementation of the Makip size recommendation engine Unisze has begun on sy32golf, an online fashion website operated by Long Yong Japan, Co Ltd. SY32 by SWEET YEARS GOLF is the luxury golf line of “SWEET YEARS”, an Italian casual sports brand created by Christian Bieri and Paolo Maldini.

Panasonic

Panasonic Connect Europe unveiled its first LED display, the 110-inch TL-110AD12AW LED display. It is targetted at higher education, in classrooms and university lecture theatres or in corporate environments. It delivers outstanding performance and is easy to configure out-of-the-box, providing greater installation flexibility and connectivity.

Hartmut Kulessa, European Marketing Manager, Visual Systems Solutions at Panasonic Connect Europe, said, “We are seeing growing demand for large-screen displays that deliver high-quality visuals and are easy to use and install. Most traditional LED displays have complex systems that are difficult and time consuming to operate, whilst not being compatible with other devices.

TSIA

There are only two publications from TSIA this week. One article introduces the TSIA Research journey: Driving Content Consumption. (Subscription Required) The article describes the four steps the journey will seek to cover:

  1. Define the Problem: By clearly identifying the business challenge, we can start tackling it.
  2. Launch Discovery: With polls, surveys, and interviews, here’s where we dig deep into the facts and contributing factors.

The second is a survey insight titled Expansion Grows, Renewal Gaps Persist. This provides insights from the TSIA’s 2024 XaaS Renewals via the Channel Survey. The survey was created to gain a deeper understanding of the current state of partner involvement during the renewal stage of the customer life cycle. It focused on gaining insights into how companies are engaging with partners to drive renewals and the extent to which partners are integrated into the renewal process. (Subscription Required)

Zoho

New partnership in Kenya

Zoho has partnered with KeNIC, the manager and administrator of Kenya’s country code top-level domain—.ke. The partnership will see Zoho offering Zoho credits worth 50,000KES to anyone who has a .ke domain. Or is purchasing one either directly from KeNIC or through its registrars.

The users of the .ke domain will be able to utilise Zoho Wallet Credits to purchase any of Zoho’s 55+ products. These include Zoho One, a unified platform of over 50 apps, and Zoho Workplace, a unified enterprise collaboration platform.

Veerakumar Natarajan, Country Head, Zoho Kenya, commented, “The partnership is aimed to support Kenya’s move towards a digital-first economy by helping local businesses in their digital transformation efforts and promoting e-commerce. And Another in Indonesia

Zoho has announced a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Communication And Digital Affairs. Members of the Gerakan Nasional 1000 Startup Digital and Startup Studio Indonesia will have access to Zoho Application credits worth IDR 54,000,000 to apply against the Zoho suites of applications, including Zoho One.
