OneAdvanced, a leading provider of sector-focussed SaaS software has announced two senior appointments. Xavier Langlois joined as Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel at OneAdvanced in October, and Jon Harrison joined as Chief Services Officer. Langlois is presumably replacing Yasmin Mangalji in the role, though her LinkedIn profile has not yet been updated. The Chief Services Officer appears to be a new role.
Simon Walsh, CEO of OneAdvanced, commented, “We are proud to serve the most critical sectors in society, these appointments demonstrate how seriously we take that responsibility. We are on an exciting journey as we transform and evolve to better serve customers’ needs while ensuring robust governance and compliance.
“Our software powers the world of work for our customers, helping them thrive in today’s fast-paced, evolving digital world. We focus on realising a positive societal impact through our commitment to be better for our people, better for the planet, delivering better technology, and being a better business.
“I am incredibly proud that we have attracted world class talent such as Xavier and Jon to join the OneAdvanced team, and that they share our vision to become the leading provider of sector-focussed SaaS software. I am excited about the impact they will have, not only to the way we run our business, but to the experience we deliver to our customers, who are at the heart of every decision we make.”
Who is Jon Harrison?
Harrison joins from Ping Identity, where he served as SVP of Customer Success and Experience, after joining the company after it acquired ForgeRock. At ForgeRock he had held senior positions in services roles, first as SVP Global Support and then as EVP Services.
He has broad experience working in both large and small companies. Spending time at SaaS start-up Gloat, where he was VP of Customer Success, EMEA and APAC. He had six years at Sage leading Customer Success teams both globally and in UKI. He also spent time at software vendors Unit4 and MidlandHR. His early career was spent in HR within different industries.
Harrison has wide experience in leading customer success and service delivery functions in both the private and public sectors. In this new role, he will oversee professional services, customer support, and success.
Harrison will lead the efforts to ensure customers obtain value from the OneAdvanced software through their customer lifecycle. Harrison will be at the heart of the OneAdvanced strategy of putting customer satisfaction and a great user experience at the centre of their efforts.
Who is Xavier Langlois?
Langlois joins from Beamery, where he held the roles of Chief Legal Officer and Chief Talent Officer. He has wide experience in senior positions across industries such as SaaS, technology, and private equity. Langlois has worked as general counsel for One Peak Partners, a PE firm, HighQ, a legal tech SaaS firm, and as senior counsel for CDW. He became fully qualified at Fieldfisher and, before that, worked in several junior positions at a wide range of firms.
Langlois will lead the legal, compliance and regulatory agenda, including corporate governance, data protection, and privacy. In his role, he will ensure that the company’s operations align with global standards while safeguarding stakeholder interests.
One key element of his role will be ensuring that its AI and other technology development aligns with regulatory and ethical guidelines. His experience in Private equity could also prove useful when the firm looks for further funding.
Enterprise Times: What does this mean
Walsh has transformed OneAdvance since he joined, strengthening the senior leadership team with several hires. The firm is now refocused on eight core sectors, aligning its software portfolio and operations in these areas. The sectors include Education, Care Providers, Healthcare, Social Housing, Law Practices, Distribution & Logistics, Government, and Business Services.
These latest hires back this strategy. Thus strengthening the leadership team to help drive Customer Success into the heart of the business as it looks to continue its growth. It will be interesting to see now whether it focuses on organic, as much as the inorganic growth that it has achieved over the last few years through acquisitions, as Walsh aims to transform the organisation into one that is more customer-focused.
