Cameron + Ross

Deltek published an interview with Jon Anderson, Director at Cameron + Ross. He reveals how the civil and structural engineering consultancy migrated to the Cloud version of Deltek Vantageipoint in March 2020.

Anderson has seen several benefits from the project. He commented, “Before if an engineer needed to issue an invoice, multiple people needed to manually process and approve it. Now Deltek Vantagepoint alerts the relevant project manager whenever someone submits a draft invoice to help expedite approval.”

It also helped with the growing appetite and demand during and after COVID of working remotely. It has also ensured that new offices such as Edinburgh enable people to work in an office near to a project or home with ease while keeping in touch with the rest of the firm.

Anderson delivers his three recommendations for a successful ERP Migration; in summary, these are:

  • Optimise your project information tagging
  • Don’t feel like you need to use everything at once
  • Use Deltek Vantagepoint – but not if you’re a competitor!
