Appointment Door - Photo by Dima Pechurin on UnsplashWhen Thomas Scott was appointed CEO of Wrike in July 2023. Ryan Mason, who had been corporate controller stepped into the role of interim CFO. He left in May to become CFO at Trackforce Valiant + TrackTik. Wrike has now appointed Jacquelyn Tonelli as its new Chief Financial Officer. Tonelli has over 15 years of working in finance and nearly ten years of leading finance teams.

Tonelli will now oversee Wrike’s financial strategic planning, and cash flow monitoring. She will use her experience as an auditor to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the organization. Thus optimizing the financial performance and maximizing growth. With Tonelli’s history working in finance it will strengthen the leadership team. Thus allowing Scott to focus on growing the company. He will be able to focus on delivering superior customer experiences through its workflow management platform.

Thomas Scott, CEO of Wrike, commented, “We are thrilled to welcome Jacquelyn to our team. Her proven track record in the finance landscape and her commitment to operational excellence align perfectly with our strategic objectives. Jacquelyn’s leadership capability and aptitude for solving complex financial challenges make her the ideal person to support our next phase of growth.”

Before NewWitness, she held finance leadership roles at Bullhorn, Erecruit, and Jenzabar. Near the start of her career she was a senior auditor at Parent, McLaughlin & Nangle, CPAs in Boston. She subsequently joined Marcum LLP, one of the largest independent public accounting and advisory services firms in the nation, after it acquired Parent, McLaughlin & Nangle.

I’ve already started working closely with the team on our mission to deliver the most intelligent work management solution to our customers.”

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

This is an interesting hire by Scott. Tonelli may have less experience than others, but the CEO wants a dynamic and proven finance leader with whom he can work. For Tonelli, this is a step up to a larger company with huge potential. It will be interesting to see how she evolves the Wrike finance team and strategy over the next few years as she works with Scott.
