Deltek

Deltek announced two appointments. It has promoted Margo Martin to Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer. It also appointed Becca Harness as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), leading the Global Information Security team.

Martin has served Deltek for 25 years, joining as a senior support analyst and was previously Deltek’s Group Vice President of Customer Success. She commented, “I’m so proud to continue doing the work that I love at Deltek: working with our customers to ensure that they’re able to take full advantage of all the great capabilities within our products and solutions. Infor

Infor announced that Riverina Water, a leading water utility company based in Australia, has seen the benefits of adopting Infor CloudSuite for Water. Emily Tonacia, Director of Corporate Services Riverina Water, commented, “Given the proven efficiencies gained over the past 12 months since the customer and Billing module was turned on, we are excited to realize the full benefits of the purpose-built Infor CloudSuite for Water Solution.”

Infosys

TDC Net

Infosys announced a collaboration with TDC Net, a Danish digital infrastructure and connectivity provider. Infosys will help them transform from a traditional infrastructure company to a leading customer-centric technology company. The collaboration aims to modernize TDC Net’s IT infrastructure, improve its customer experience, and help it optimize IT and operational service costs.

ServiceNow

Infosys also announced an expanded strategic collaboration with ServiceNow to provide end-to-end managed services, leveraging AI capabilities of the Now Platform and the Infosys Enterprise Service Management Café (ESM Café) for enterprise business transformation.

Infosys will aim to accelerate the ServiceNow implementation for enterprises such as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) by almost 30 to 40%, allowing faster time-to-value – also delivering a comprehensive suite of services and solutions.

These include licenses, services, and implementation of the Infosys ESM Café, an AI-powered plug-and-play solution, part of Infosys Cobalt, a set of services, solutions and platforms for enterprises to accelerate their cloud journey. The Infosys ESM Café offers more than 70 applications covering various modules and ServiceNow capabilities, including AI and sustainable digital solutions.

Panasonic

TOUGHBOOK secure service

Panasonic launched its TOUGHBOOK Secure range of bespoke services, enhancing computing capabilities for defence customers. The end-to-end offering helps to protect assets and data throughout the device fleet’s lifecycle. It includes mission-specific device configurations, secure deployments, specialized support for deployed assets, and tailored maintenance plans.

Panasonic splits off Projector Business

Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd. today announced that it has reached an agreement on a strategic capital partnership with ORIX Corporation in regard to the company’s projector business and related operations. The two companies plan to establish a new company to operate the business, aiming for continued growth. This decision was made today at the board of directors meeting of Panasonic Holdings Corporation concerning the following details.

ORIX will hold 80% of the shares, and Panasonic Connect will hold 20%. The new company will use the Panasonic brand for the time being.

Surrey’s Lowland Rescue team

Panasonic has donated TOUGHBOOK 33 2-in-1 detachable rugged tablets to Surrey Search & Rescue (Surrey SAR). The devices will help increase increasing connectivity and operational efficiency for the voluntary specialist search team, when responding to incidents of missing people, water and flood rescue.

Pipefy has announced the appointment of Rafael Weigand, VP of Customer Success & Expansion. Weigand joins from a ten-year stint at Neoway, a Brazil based B2B SaaS company where he was recently Chief Revenue Officer.

Workday announced that HiredScore AI for Recruiting and HiredScore AI for Talent Mobility are now available through Workday. These significant AI enhancements will help organizations achieve measurable outcomes in productivity, operational efficiency, and organizational agility.

Recruiting, hiring, and retaining workers today can be complex and time-consuming for organizations and job seekers. At the same time, finding the right talent with the skills needed to fulfil certain job requirements is critical to the success of an organization.

Zoho

In a blog, Anirudh Kidambi of Zoho revealed how it embedded Zia, its AI assistant, into Zoho Projects. The Zia Bots will enable users to conduct several tasks using its conversational interface, including:

  • Create projects, tasks, or issues
  • View and update task or issue details
  • Close tasks or issues and schedule events
  • Change the task priority, update the task status, start and stop task timers, and manage timesheets

It will also help through Zia Search, which enables users to locate information faster, no matter how complex the query is. Zia Translate offers the ability to translate text into or from over 70 languages, removing barriers in international projects.

Zoho Projects also includes a generative AI component powered by ChatGPT, enabling users to carry out tasks faster, including:

  • Generate Fresh Content: Create project descriptions, summaries, and more with ease
  • Paraphrase Text: Rephrase selected or entire texts to improve clarity or adjust tone
  • Find Perfect Words: Generate synonyms, antonyms, and one-word substitutes
  • Modify Tone and Length: Adjust the tone and length of your text to suit specific needs
