Carlos Ferro, Senior Vice President and General Manager of International at LiveAction, commented, “Ian, Guntram, and Sebastien are exceptional sales leaders with proven success in delivering value to customers and partners in the European market. LiveAction already has a presence in France following its acquisition of LivingObjects in 2017. It is now looking to bring its full suite of network visibility and performance management applications to the European market as enterprises adopt hybrid architectures and the importance of networks, their performance and security increases in importance. LiveAction aims to provide unmatched visibility into network and application performance from a single pane of glass.

Who are the new Sales  Directors?

Gallagher joined LiveAction in 2024 as Regional Sales Manager, UK & I from VMWare. At VMWare, he was a senior Account Executive working on Global Accounts for Networking and Security. He previously worked in sales roles at Extreme Networks and Brocade. He has over 25 years of experience in sales, working for various technology firms, including Capita IT Services, Avnet and Avaya.

Alffen joins LiveAction from Avi Networks (bought by VMWare in 2019), where he was Regional Director for the DACH region. He has worked in Sales Leadership positions for NetScout, CoScale, ScienceLogic and Riverbed. With over 25 years in sales, he also had stints at BMC Software, NetQoS and NetIQ.

Texier joined LiveAction in January as Regional Sales Manager in France. He has held several roles as a Sales Manager and has worked in Sales for over thirty years. His previous management roles included stints at ThousandEyes, Extreme Networks, Aerohive Networks and Information Builders. He also worked at SPSS, Avocent, XcelleNet, and Sterling Commerce.

All three are experienced Sales executives working consistently within their home nation or surrounding countries.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

Ferro has found an extremely well-experienced sales leadership team to spearhead the organisation in Europe. What is not clear is how big the remit is of each of these leaders and what freedom to hire they will have in their respective countries. Texier will benefit from an existing organisation and customer base within France. It will be interesting to see what customer win announcements follow.
