His promotion follows the departure of Anjun Kundavaram, who left the company in February. Kundavaram started a board advisor role for Actabl in January, but where he will land next is unclear.

Eric Yau, Chief Operating Officer at Precisely, commented, “Chris brings to Precisely a unique skill set that includes strong operational excellence and expertise to successfully drive our product direction and development.

“He has the SaaS background and market experience that’s essential to lead our product organisation as we continue to innovate and scale our Data Integrity Suite and the rest of our product portfolio. We’ve been on a transformational product journey, and Chris is key to ensuring optimal product alignment and execution, accelerating our growth in the data integrity market.”

Hall was previously SVP of Product & Operations at Precisely, a role he has held for over four years. He joined Syncsoft (rebranding as Precisely in 2020) as part of the acquisition of Pitney Bowes Software division in 2019.

At Pitney Bowes Hall was VP of Product Management of Customer Engagement Solutions. He, therefore, has a deep knowledge of the Precisely portfolio. He will oversee product strategies and roadmaps for the entire Precisely product portfolio. That includes the continued innovation and delivery of the Data Integrity Suite.

Hall has held product management, product marketing and program management roles at several software roles at several technology firms. His career included stints at Red Ventures, Imagitas, Sharecare, Eventful, The Active Network, AOL and Brickfish. He spent nearly six years in the US Air Force. Hall graduated from the US Air Force Academy with a BS in Business and also has an MBA from the University of West Florida.

Hall commented, “With initiatives such as GenAI and advanced analytics at top of mind for organisations, it is absolutely critical to have confidence in the underlying data. I’m proud of our extensive track record providing customers with accurate, consistent, and contextual data for driving successful and trustworthy outcomes. I look forward to working closely with our world-class product team and accelerating our innovative software, data, and data strategy offerings to market.”

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

In promoting Hall, Precisely has someone who fully understands the benefits and technology behind the Precisely Data Integrity Suite. The Suite consists of seven interoperable services that enable organisations to build trust in their data. Expect him to hit the ground running.

It will be interesting to hear and see how he will evolve the product roadmap for Precisely over the next few months and years. Within and beyond the suite, Precisely has several solutions and services that integrate, improve, govern, and add context to data, whether it lives on-prem, in the cloud, or hybrid environments.

The announcement comes as the company prepares to attend the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit in Orlando, Florida. Precisely CTO Tendü Yoğurtçu, PhD, CTO, is hosting a speaking session alongside Travis Carpenter, SVP of Data Quality & Sources, Mastercard. They will discuss “Three Crucial Considerations for AI-ready Data” on Monday, March 11, from 3:45 PM – 4:15 PM ET in the Swan Ballroom 4. Precisely also has a booth (#1634) at the event.
