This is the 64th in a series of business tips from industry leaders that Enterprise Times has interviewed. Enterprise Times recently spoke to Andrew Longland, Managing Director of HIT Technology, about the company. HIT is a Syspro partner and has worked with the software for 15 years.
I asked Longland whether he could give a tip about setting up a VAR (Value Added Reseller).
He replied, “Wow, I’ve only been in this business for 2 years.
“Paul, who founded HIT fifteen years ago, went through a lot of pain and anguish to get where we are now. I think the biggest tip would be to make sure you know your product well and have the resources to deliver what you promise to the customer.”
How do you make sure you have that?
“Investment in the team, both getting the right people on board and training.”
