Acquisitions

Accenture has agreed to acquire Rabbit’s Tale, a Bangkok-based creative and digital experience agency. Accenture has also agreed to acquire Ammagamma, an Italy-based firm that helps companies advance their uses of AI and generative AI technologies.

Accenture has acquired Ocelot Consulting, a cloud consultancy specializing in full-stack development, data engineering, data science, and strategy and execution for cloud modernization. Accenture has also acquired Incapsulate, a leading digital transformation consulting firm that specializes in Salesforce solutions.

Globant announced the acquisition of a majority stake in GUT, an independent creative agency, to strengthen and grow Globant’s creative capabilities.

Amplitude announced that former Tableau executive Francois Ajenstat had joined the company as its new Chief Product Officer.

Appen Limited (Appen) announced the appointment of Alicia Hale as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

  • Billings were $74.8 million, an increase of 1% year over year
  • GAAP subscription gross margin was 84%, consistent with Q3 FY23
  • GAAP operating margin increased by 9 percentage points year over year

Salesforce announced results for its third quarter fiscal 2024 ended October 31, 2023.

  • Third Quarter GAAP Operating Margin of 17.2% and non-GAAP Operating Margin of 31.2%
  • Returned $1.9 Billion to Stockholders in the Third Quarter in the Form of Share Repurchases
  • Initiates Fourth Quarter FY24 Revenue Guidance of $9.18 Billion to $9.23 Billion, up 10% Y/Y

Synopsis

Synopsis announced results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2023. Revenue for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2023 was $1.599 billion, compared to $1.284 billion for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2022. Revenue for fiscal year 2023 was $5.843 billion, an increase of approximately 15% from $5.082 billion in fiscal year 2022.
