NetSuite held Suiteworld last week. It did not disappoint with a host of new features and updates to its ERP platform. Enterprise Times covered the event and the launch of its new Field Service Management product, an overview from the keynote.

Specific announcements around the product include updates to Analytics Warehouse. The main part of the keynote was how NetSuite will embed generative AI.

Appointments

Totalmobile announced a planned change in leadership. Phil Race joins the organisation as the new Totalmobile CEO. Jim Darragh stepped down after seven years as the head of the business. But he will remain during a transition period until the end of 2023. He will then take up a position on the board in the role of Deputy Chair.

Accenture announced a collaboration with SAP to help organizations adopt generative AI across their core business processes. The companies will create AI-enabled solutions and use cases that can enhance an organization’s investment in SAP technology. These will improve business performance and employee productivity, accelerating time to value with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

ClearBooks announced a competition to win a “Spreadsheets are for Mugs” mug with a simple submission form.

At Deltek, ProjectCon 2023, the leading global provider of software and solutions for project-based businesses, announced that it is partnering with Save the Children.

Nextworld and Demand Driven Technologies, a leading provider of Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning (DDMRP), announced the launch of their integrated solutions.

Evolve Information Systems, a US-based VAR has signed a resellers agreement with Priority Software, a premier business management platform. This platform seamlessly brings together the capabilities of a complete ERP with retail management capabilities and provides a single enterprise retail management solution.

Rimini Street announced its expansion of Salesforce services to include Rimini Consult for Salesforce. Rimini Consult for Salesforce offers functional and technical consulting, project design, and strategic planning services. These will help Rimini Street clients grow their businesses by effectively leveraging the ever-expanding capabilities in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Market-leading SMB technology company Sage, Telecoms giant Vodafone, global tech innovation firm Cisco and Google are among the backers of a new generation Tech Hub built by Enterprise Nation. The Hub aims to be a universal one-stop-shop solution for the UK’s 5.6m SMBs. This aims to upskill, up-tool and embed technology into their business.

Sage announced the launch of its first AI-generated business avatar in Season 4 of Member Masterclass. “Embracing the opportunities of AI: Insights from an AI-generated expert”. This was presented by AI-avatar Alex, as part of Sage’s industry-leading series of talks and articles for customers.

Yemen-based Tadhamon Bank, is one of the largest Islamic financial institutions in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. It has upgraded to, and is live with, the latest version of iMAL, Azentio’s industry-leading digital Islamic core banking platform.

French company Daudruy, a major supplier of oils for almost 200 years, has chosen to deploy the Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage solution. This is a cloud-native enterprise resource planning (ERP) suite powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). It is specifically built for the food and beverage industry.

Alterra Mountain Company is a leading name in the world of year-round mountain destinations. It is now live on the Mi9 Platform at Stratton in Vermont. This will be the first of several resorts.

Minor Hotels is upgrading 100 of its properties to Oracle OPERA Hospitality Cloud. By moving to the cloud, the growing hotel owner, manager, and operator can bolster efficiency and unify guest profiles across its global properties.

American Flexible Products (AFP), a renowned custom gasket manufacturer, announced a strategic collaboration with Paperless Parts. Paperless Parts is a cutting-edge quoting and estimating platform designed for custom part manufacturers.

SAP

SAP announced financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2023.

  • Cloud revenue up 16% and up 23% at constant currencies
  • Current cloud backlog of €12.3 billion, up 19% and up 25% at constant currencies
  • IFRS cloud gross profit is up 21%, non-IFRS cloud gross profit is up 21% and up 28% at constant currencies, supported by the expansion of cloud gross margin
  • IFRS operating profit up 11%, non-IFRS operating profit up 10% and up 16% at constant currencies

AccountingSeed has announced that its Winter release is now in sandbox environments. The release includes Financial Analytics and updates to the AR Automation functionality, as well as several smaller customer-requested updates.

ECI Software Solutions, Inc. announced that JobBOSS² and M1 manufacturing ERP products have been designed to comply with CMMC 2.0 standards.

Hansaworld published details of 2023-09-24. The update includes generative AI improvements and localisation enhancements for Paraguay and Norway.

Intuit announced a new solution fully integrated within Intuit QuickBooks that transforms bill pay for businesses and delivers accounts payable (AP) automation – QuickBooks Bill Pay.

iplicit announced that it is enabling customers to connect its ERP to other solutions using iPaaS technology provided by Zapier and Besyncly.

Odoo has updated its solution to improve tax management and financial reporting for Brazilian companies.

Sage has launched Sage HR for Sage 50 in the US and Canada. The industry-first solution delivers powerful integration between accounting, HR and payroll processes. It allows teams to be more agile and keep up with the demands of a modern workforce. The Sage HR integration is available exclusively to Sage 50 customers with a Payroll service plan.

Sage has launched Sage Intacct Payroll in partnership with ADP Canada. The solution has been available in the US market since June 2022.

Simpro announced updates to Simpro Premium and Simpro Mobile.
