Abramson commented, “I am delighted to join FourKites, building on its amazing foundation of market-leading products and solutions to drive strategic customer growth across the Americas. The momentum of this company is truly exciting, and I look forward to leading my team in pursuing hyper growth industry segments and delivering measurable value and delightful experiences to our customers.”

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

Following its $10 million strategic investment from Mitsui & Co. to Transform Supply Chains in Asia-Pacific, FourKites has continued to expand. It appointed Bo Tao as FourKites’ new Chief Technology Officer. Manik Mair joined as Senior Vice President of Corporate Growth last month. In April, it appointed Rocky Subramanian as President, as it looked to accelerate global expansion. It is still recruiting, with 14 open positions in the USA, India, Japan and Poland.

FourKites is building its engineering and sales teams to take advantage of and power recent developments in its portfolio. It also announced a new competitive replacement program for organizations struggling with their current visibility vendors not delivering promised results. It is hoping to bring the expertise of its new hires to attract customers from their legacy solutions to help solve supply chain issues with Fourkites.

These recent announcements see FourKites making the right noises for further growth. The investment by Matsui seems a wise move as the firm continues to expand its footprint globally.
