Wong has more than 20 years of experience in product management and design for digital marketing software. In her last role, she served as Vice President of Product at Optimizely. She joined Optimizely after its acquisition of Welcome in Dec 2021, where she was VP of Product.

At Welcome, she was a member of the executive team and led product strategy and execution, including product management, design, product marketing, and product-led growth. She helped both Welcome and Optimizely attain a leadership position on the Gartner Quadrant for Content Marketing platforms for six straight years. Ferrentino will no doubt hope she aids Yext to deliver the same success.

Before Welcome, she held Product Management leadership roles at BrightEdge, Neustar, Responsys, Satmetrix and Oracle. After leaving Oracle, she joined SAP as the Director, of Americas Marketing & Market Strategy. That exposure will have broadened her experience. She began her career at IBM after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from University at California, Berkeley.

Wong, Chief Product Officer, Yext, commented, “Yext has a clear advantage to drive broader industry change around how companies use digital to deliver the one-of-a-kind experiences customers want. Leading product at Yext presents an exciting opportunity to build a new type of digital experience platform that sits at the intersection of AI, data, and design. We’re going to change the way the market thinks about AI and digital experiences. I am beyond excited to be part of Yext’s journey to unleash this extraordinary potential together.”

Enterprise Times:  What does this mean

Wong has had an impressive career to date, building experience rapidly by moving between organisations. She then spent over five years at Optimizely/Welcome, making a real difference there. This is her first position in the CSuite, but she has the experience to lead real change for the organisation. It will be interesting to see what she accomplishes and how she does so.
