It will work on the project with ELLA Digital, a Rootstock partner. Nash Tackle is a UK headquartered carp tackle manufacturer and wholesaler, founded in 1978. It needed to modernise its legacy ERP solution enabling it to scale.

As the company grew, an increasing number of manual processes crept into the operation as its existing solution no longer met its requirements. In addition, the solution did not offer a holistic view of information, and the reporting system did not meet its requirements. With sales in over 30 countries, stock control was also disjointed. The firm needed to improve its inventory management and compliance across the countries it operates in.

Nash Tackle will implement Salesforce Sales Cloud and Rootstock ERP to transform its business. The decision was based on advice from ELLA Digital, with whom Nash Tackle has already conducted several projects, including constructing its Nash Lakes website.

ELLA Digital is a Salesforce registered consulting partner, a registered ISV partner and an authorised cloud reseller. ELLA is also a Rootstock implementation partner and will use its ‘Digital Transformation as a Service’ methodology to help transform the Nash Tackle operations, including purchasing, inventory, production, and finance.

ELLA will work with Nash Tackle over the next few months. The intention is to go live in October 2023. David Stephans, CEO at Rootstock Software, commented, “We’re proud to provide our Cloud ERP to a brand that’s been at the center of fishing innovation for nearly 40 years.

Once complete, Nash Tackle will expect the cloud-based solutions to enable the company to continue its growth and expansion. Nash concluded, “With Salesforce and Rootstock Cloud ERP built on one platform, we knew our company’s operations would be futureproofed for our growth ambitions.”

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

Nash Tackle is a significant win for Rootstock, a niche but varied organisation in the UK. The firm has tackle, bait and clothing ranges for anglers and operates a series of lakes in Royston to deliver the highest quality carp fishing experience. With over 50 employees in the Nash Group (Source LinkedIn), the company is also of significant size. Once complete, Rootstock will hope that this will become an ambassador for its solution in the UK and Europe with a recognised brand.
