Zellis issued a statement about the data breach resulting from the vulnerability in MOVEit from Progress Software that affected several customers. The statement said:

“We can confirm that a small number of our customers have been impacted by this global issue and we are actively working to support them. All Zellis-owned software is unaffected and there are no associated incidents or compromises to any other part of our IT estate.”

“Once we became aware of this incident we took immediate action, disconnecting the server that utilises MOVEit software and engaging an expert external security incident response team to assist with forensic analysis and ongoing monitoring. We have also notified the ICO, DPC, and the NCSC in both the UK and Ireland. We employ robust security processes across all of our services and they all continue to run as normal.”

Acquisitions

UKG has agreed to acquire Immedis, a leading global payroll provider with technology and services supporting over 160 countries. Subject to closing conditions, the acquisition is expected to complete within 60 days.

Appointments

Ceridian announced the appointment of Sam Alkharrat as EVP and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), reporting directly to Steve Holdridge, President of Customer and Revenue Operations.

Conga announced the appointment of Simon Edwards as Chief Financial Officer.

Carin Giuliante officially assumed the role of chair and chief executive officer of Deloitte Tax LLP. The first female to lead Deloitte’s tax business, Giuliante succeeds Steve Kimble. Kimble served in the role for six years and will continue in leadership roles in the US and globally.

DocuSign announced the appointment of Anna Marrs to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Marrs will also join the Board’s Audit Committee.

Dynatrace announced that its Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Steve Pace, plans to retire from the company and that Dan Zugelder will be appointed as the company’s new CRO, effective July 5, 2023.

PluralSight announced the appointment of Matthew Collier as Chief Customer Officer (CCO).

Salesforce has shuffled its top management positions, Reuters reported. Miguel Milano was appointed as the chief revenue officer.  Ariel Kelman was appointed as Salesforce’s chief marketing officer.

6sense announced significant enhancements to 6sense Conversational Email with the launch of its AI Writer functionality. This new functionality expands on the generative AI capabilities customers use within 6sense Conversational Email to maximize the effectiveness of email outreach and marketing.

Act-On has launched Act-On AI Create for enhanced email generation. Act-On AI Create is available today to help marketers instantly create relevant email content and reduce time deploying automated programs.

Adobe made a series of appointments at its Summit last week. Adobe launched Adobe Express, the all-in-one content creation app that makes it fast, easy and fun to design and share standout content and Adobe Firefly, the world’s most differentiated generative AI offering, empowering brands to accelerate experience-led growth.

Adobe also announced enhanced features for its Content Supply Chain solution and showcased strong momentum among European customers and partners. There were innovations for the Adobe Experience Cloud, including new Sensei GenAI features.

Aprimo announced the launch of AI Content Coach, a groundbreaking tool that transforms content operations through the power of generative AI. Powered by Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and Chat GPT, AI Content Coach is designed to revolutionize content creation by offering companies new levels of creativity, efficiency, and brand compliance.

Codeless Platforms released Applications Platform Private Cloud Connector v1.4, which includes a new filter for search processes and new operations.

Collibra announced innovations and integrations to help customers realize more value from their cloud migration and modernization investments. At its annual cybersecurity conference, ConnectWise made several announcements, including updates to its security portfolio.

Demandbase released AI-powered buying groups. The Demandbase platform will analyze millions of data points, drawing from more than 150M B2B contacts combined with the industry’s deepest advertising, intent, and engagement data to generate dynamic B2B buying groups, assign roles and personas, and recommend new contacts. It will also aggregate buying signals across the group and streamline engagement, unlocking a clear competitive advantage and saving hours of manual research and guesswork to drive greater revenue growth.

Fenergo launched KYC & Transaction Compliance, a new offering for fintechs that combines its KYC and transaction monitoring solutions and enables continuous monitoring of the customer profile.

KX launched a new version of PyKX, its Python first interface to kdb+, with a development-only licence. This launch expands the reach of KX technology to the over 10 million strong Python developer community, enabling them to experience the data processing and analytical power of kdb+ and its underlying vector programming language q while remaining in their native Python development environment.

Leadspace announced Revenue Radar. Revenue Radar is the industry’s first revenue navigation system to use multi-signal AI targeting to map the fastest route to revenue.
