Caseware International announced the acquisition of Accountants Templates Inc., better known as Jazzit, which has provided templates and checklists to Caseware’s Canadian customers for over 20 years.

Ciphr has acquired Marshall E-Learning (Marshalls) – a specialist diversity and inclusion online learning provider; neither party disclosed the terms.

Docebo announced it had acquired PeerBoard, a plug-and-play community-as-a-service platform owned and operated by Circles Collective Inc.

Qualitest has acquired Q Analysts, a US-based quality engineering company. The Q Analysts acquisition adds significant expertise in quality engineering for cutting-edge technologies and marks Qualitest’s sixth strategic acquisition in two years.

BMC announced the appointment of Paul Cant as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Effective April 4, 2023, Cant took on global responsibility for the BMC sales organization.

Mediafly announced the appointment of Mary Shea as co-CEO. Shea joins current CEO Carson Conant in advancing the company into its next phase of growth and innovation.

Sudhir Hasbe has joined the Neo4j executive leadership team as Chief Product Officer (CPO).

FD Technologies

FD Technologies announced a trading update ahead of its full-year results on 23 May 2023. Highlights included:

  • Group revenue is expected to be approximately £296m, representing growth of 12%, despite the strengthening of the dollar against sterling in H2.
  • Group EBITDA is expected to be approximately £35m, with strong performances at KX and First Derivative offset by a weak demand environment at MRP.
  • Strong cash management in H2 resulted in a net cash position at the year-end of £0.4m, compared to net debt of £7.4m at the end of August 2022.
  • KX delivered a strong performance, ahead of guidance, with revenue of approximately £80m and ARR of £65m, a 39% increase on the prior year.

Seamus Keating, Group CEO, said, “KX and First Derivative have performed strongly, with both revenue and EBITDA ahead of our expectations, as each business strengthened its market position. Calabrio announced the integration of Calabrio ONE with advanced AI (artificial intelligence) systems from OpenAI. Integrations include ChatGPT and GPT-3, with GPT-4 also being evaluated. The commercial integration accelerates the potential of Calabrio’s proprietary AI and machine learning (ML) capabilities and the framework of its modern workforce performance solutions.

Cornerstone OnDemand Inc, announced the industry’s first holistic career growth, mobility and talent marketplace, Cornertone’s Opportunity Marketplace. Fivetran announced support for Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) with Apache Iceberg data lake format.
