IRIS Software acquired US-based Apex HCM (Apex), a leading cloud-based HCM enterprise software provider for payroll service bureaus (PSBs) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) firms.

Rockwell Automation acquired Knowledge Lens. Based in Bengaluru, India, Knowledge Lens is a services and solutions provider that delivers actionable business insights from enterprise data, combining digital technologies with deep data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and engineering expertise.

Visma has acquired Identum, a leading provider of identity and access management software (IAM), to Norway’s educational and public sector.

Appointments

Xero has appointed former Google and Okta executive Diya Jolly as its new Chief Product Officer, effective 10 April 2023.

Business

Sage announced the US and UKI launch of season 3 of Member Masterclass, its industry-leading series of talks and articles for customers. This new season, produced in partnership with The DO Lectures, shows small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) that embracing sustainability can be fundamental to their survival and growth in challenging times.

Sage also announced the deployment of the Member Masterclass program in France. It is already launched in the United States, the United Kingdom, South Africa and Canada.  French, German and Spanish SMEs are joining the large community of Sage customers worldwide.

SAP announced the launch of the SAP Next-Gen Lab within Nottingham University Business School’s Digital Centre of Excellence. The new lab will provide a physical teaching space for modules with digital or SAP content. It will also assist in Nottingham and SAP’s joint objective to ”digitally future-proof” students and enhance their career prospects.

Albert Kahn Associates, an architecture and engineering firm with award-winning projects worldwide, has switched to Unanet ERP AE to complement its existing Unanet CRM solution and integrate all its business processes, from new business proposals to invoicing and project management.

Rimini Street

Rimini Street announced its Q4 and full-year 2022 results. Q4 revenue was up 9.4% to $108 million, and FY 2022 also rose 9.4% to 409.7 million. The company has 3,020 active clients, up 6% year over year.

OrderWise published released notes for version 23.2. The release includes updates for mobile devices and courier integration for Spring GDS.

Rimini Street launched Rimini Consult. It is a suite of packaged and project-based professional services available for clients’ enterprise software customization, configuration, implementation, integration, interoperability, migration, staff augmentation and other project needs, delivered by experienced professionals.

Rimini Street has launched Rimini Watch. Rimini Watch is a new suite of observability solutions that enable organizations operating Oracle and SAP applications and databases across all industries and geographies to benefit from innovative monitoring, health check and change management solutions.

SYSPRO announced the latest release of its EERP software. It includes five areas of improvement:

ToolsGroup rolled out version 8.50 of its  Service Optimizer 99+ (SO99+) software, making major improvements to its forecasting and demand-sensing capabilities.

Xero has added two South African direct bank feeds this month for Bank Zero (ZA) and Investec Corporate (ZA).
