SAP announced the foundation of the joint venture Cofinity-X. Ten partners within the automotive industry will further foster the adoption of the Catena-X Network. Cofinity-X shareholders are BASF, BMW Group, Henkel, Mercedes-Benz, SAP, Schaeffler, Siemens, T-Systems, Volkswagen and ZF.

Be for Beauty has selected FuturMaster’s Bloom Demand Planning platform to improve demand planning effectiveness and efficiency.

Finnish building contractor, Lujatalo Oy, is implementing the IFS Cloud ERP software solution. It is looking to modernize its infrastructure and drive a competitive edge against the backdrop of rising raw material and energy prices. The solution Lujatalo has purchased will be implemented initially for Lujabetoni, the concrete manufacturing business unit of Lujatalo, with plans to expand the IFS Cloud footprint within Lujatalo moving forward.

Scandi Standard has chosen Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage to consolidate and standardize its core processes, such as purchasing, processing, logistics and finance. The suite will be delivered as a multi-tenant cloud solution powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

HAVI Group has deployed the Infor WMS warehouse management system in the cloud. HAVI is a global company that innovates, optimizes and manages the supply chains of leading food service brands.

Jacuzzi Brands Inc has selected Infor CloudSuite Industrial Enterprise. It will use it to help improve inventory accuracy and supply chain efficiency, enhance customer experience and standardize business processes.

nVent, a global leader in electrical connection and protection solutions, has completed the first phase of its Infor M3 CloudSuite deployment in Europe. It was led by Infor and its partner Columbus, a global IT cloud consultancy.

Automotive supplier Futaba North America Group (FNA) has selected the Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform as a state-of-the-art, complete and integrated manufacturing and business solution to run their North American operations.

SAP celebrated continued momentum for S/4HANA in North America with wins at Lockheed Martin Corporation, Sub-Zero Group Inc and Lumen Technologies. Other wins for SAP included the City of Vancouver, Builders FirstSource Inc., Benjamin Moore, Grayhill Inc. and the Eugene Water & Electric Board. The company also announced a relationship with ExxonMobil Corporation to support its process and systems transformation.

SAP SE announced that BMW Group would expand its strategic partnership with SAP to accelerate its digital transformation.

SOFTONE Group announced a strategic partnership with webhotelier|primalres, a leading developer and provider of innovative and trusted travel technology solutions, with more than 16,000 installations in 9,000+ hotels in 38 countries.

Financial Reports

Blue Yonder

Blue Yonder published highlights of Q4 and some insights for the Q1 2023 commerce industry. The company added 29 new customer logos in the quarter, bringing the total for 2022 to 162.

In the second half of 2022, Blue Yonder initiated a dedicated program focused on enhancing the SaaS customer experience through accelerated investment in people, processes, and tools to provide better support, services and experiences. It also flagged The Canopy Project, which planted 36,000 trees in 2022 to offset the company’s travel carbon footprint.

It highlighted six trends for 2023 trends:

  • The shopping experience must be seamless
  • Ai-powered supply chains will gain momentum
  • Automation and optimization are driving operations
  • Stores and frontline workers will continue to be key to success
  • Logistics will be focused on stabilizing the supply chain
  • Retailers will lean on technology to boost brand loyalty

Dassault Systèmes

Dassault Systèmes announced IFRS unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ending December 31, 2022. Q4 2022 Revenue increased 10% to €1,583.9 million. Software revenue was up 9% (€1,428.6 million), recurring revenue rose 11%, driven by strong subscription growth of 18% and License and other software revenue grew 5%. FY FY 2022 revenues grew 9% to €5665.3 million.

Ramco Systems

Ramco Systems announced its Q3 results showing bookings were up 103% year over year to US$27.6 million. Revenue hit 16.7 million, with the global consolidated income of Ramco Systems Limited USD 15.82m (Rs. 128.7cr), up from USD 15.14m in Q2. However, it was down from USD 17.22mn in Q3 last year. The net loss after tax for the quarter stood at USD 6.15m (Rs. 50.3cr). The firm raised Rs. 130cr through a preferential issue.

Commenting on the results, P.R. Venketrama Raja, Chairman of Ramco Systems, said, “Q3 was a quarter of reassurance for Ramco. We witnessed significant momentum across geographies on the back of customer wins across Aviation, Banking, Healthcare, and Technology, reposing faith in our ability to deliver differentiated value.

Unanet

Unanet published an update of its performance in 2022 which spoke more in general terms than in actual numbers. It revealed that new customers included GovCons, The McHenry Management Group (TMMG), Radiance Technologies, and Summit Point Training Facility. AECs wins included Array Architects, Eichleay and J-U-B. It reflected on a year of product improvements and several industry accolades.

Product

Acumatica unveiled 2023 R1 product details at the Acumatica Summit. It included Microsoft Teams integration, enhanced SendGrid templates and a native payments integration.

Intuit has introduced artificial intelligence (AI) enhancements for its Virtual Expert Platform to drive highly-personalized experiences, connecting consumers with experts and reducing tax filing time with its portfolio of TurboTax Live products.

Microsoft announced the preview of a new generative AI-powered experience in Microsoft Viva Sales that helps sellers communicate more effectively with prospects and customers.

OrderWise, a Forterro company, announced the first updates of 2023. They include courier integration improvements, Android HHT and Sage 50 2023 integration support.

The latest Pandle update improves dashboard performance enabling banking updates to be reflected faster.
