Some of these were covered in Enterprise Times last week, including two slightly delayed pieces about Precisely. Precisely announced a partnership with OneShield, integrating its RapidCX solution with the OneShield platform. The second announcement saw Precisely extending PreciselyID to more countries for its World Points of Interest solution.

Anaplan, with a fresh-looking executive team, has made its first acquisition, backed by Thoma Bravo, as it extracted the applications team from partner Vuealta.

Acquisitions

Sagacity Solutions Ltd announced the acquisition of award-winning data marketing and insight agency REaD Group Ltd.

Appointments

Sunil Rajasekar has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Billtrust. Rajasekar succeeds Flint Lane, the Company’s founder, who will remain on the Board of Directors.

Ivanti appointed Michael Coleman as Partner Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand. Coleman joins Ivanti to strengthen the partner ecosystem in ANZ and enable partners to realise the full benefits of the Ivanti Neurons solutions.

Jesper Eigen Møller has accepted the position as Chairman of the Board of Directors in Konsolidator, taking over from lawyer Søren Ingerslev, who has decided to leave the Board of Directors.

Medius, a leading provider of AP automation, has appointed Daniel Ball as the new EVP of Product, the latest move to further accelerate the company’s growth.

Business

Act-On Software is matching $10,000 of employee contributions to three organizations that make a difference across the US and UK. The three organisations are:

  • Transition Projects is an organization in Act-On’s hometown of Portland, Oregon, working to end homelessness. It serves more than 10,000 people annually.
  • ReadiFood is an emergency food parcel service for those in need, serving Reading, England, for more than 25 years.
  • Black Girls Code is a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting young women of colour, empowering them with the confidence and skills to break into the tech industry.

CobbleStone software has almost achieved its goal of 1 million clauses on its VISDOM AI platform, which helps optimise the contract lifecycle management process. Bradford Jones, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at CobbleStone Software, commented, “VISDOM AI is a great tool and to see it become enriched the way it has been is very exciting. This initiative has been in the works for a while, and we are very excited to soon hit the official 1 million clause mark.”

Globant is joining the Tent Partnership for Refugees (Tent), a global business network of over 300 major companies committed to supporting refugees’ economic integration.

Francisco Michref, Government Affairs & Sustainability Director at Globant, commented, “This partnership allows us to strengthen our support programs for refugees and migrants on a global scale. N-able issued an announcement looking back at the positives for its partner during 2022. In May 2022, N-able launched Cove Data Protection, the cloud-first data protection-as-a-service (DPaaS) solution that modernizes data protection for business-class backup and disaster recovery. Currently, more than 12,700 N-able partners are utilizing the solution to help prevent data loss across more than 148,000 businesses and over 1.3 million Microsoft 365 end users. It also revealed the progress of partner initiatives and solutions such as N-able Mail Assure, EDRPassportalMarketBuilderHead Nerds and the Automation Cookbook.

Salesforce revealed that global online sales across the first three weeks of December increased 2% year over year (YoY), representing $395 billion in online holiday spending. Convenience continues to be a priority for 2022 shoppers as Buy Online and Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) accounted for 23% of online orders during the final full weekend of holiday shopping.

Vena announced a strategic partnership with Fluence Technologies to offer an integrated solution empowering FP&A, extended planning (xP&A) and financial close management for Vena and Fluence customers. The companies have worked together since Fluence’s founding by the ex-CEO of Vena, Don Mal and now Chairman and Co-founder of Fluence Technologies.

Product

ServiceMax introduced Core 22 R4 adding a Customer Chat Request on ServiceMax Engage, making it easy for users to start a request over chat and better interact with their service providers. It has also introduced a Hotline Bot console on its Zinc collaboration solution, allowing administrators to easily create bots for triage hotlines without relying on IT resources.

SuiteCRM announced the availability of version 7.13. The release includes several updates, primarily to emails with many configuration improvements, but particularly the introduction of support for XOAUTH2 Authentication. This was required with Microsoft’s decision to deprecate support for Basic Authentication in Exchange Online.

VOLT HRMS solution is now available on the SAP Store, the online marketplace for SAP and partner offerings. VOLT HRMS integrates with SAP Business One and delivers customers a fully-fledged human resource management solution.
